pc rig suddenly lag when playing games

Assalamualaikum and hello. After weeks of trying to find the problem of my desktop I am almost at the brink of giving up. The thing is at first it was great I could play any game on high settings then I went back to hometown leaving my desktop behind with everything turn off, came a week later turn it on, launch steam and launch a game but realize it takes a long time to start and when in game it was so laggy. I've try cleaning it up, try to rewire some internal part, even reset my pc but the problem still persist. I even run some software test to see any hardware problem but everything looks normal in fact I can use the pc for daily use its only problem is when starting a game. Now that I am in despair my only thought is to turn to this forum to ask for help. Please help, it is my first build.
