Hi,

I am considering renting my condo to a Thai couple who work in a telemarketing company. They did provide the employment letter but the letter can be fake, right?

What else can i request from them to prove they are actually working here? Working visa?

Hi Sifus,

Bought a landed subsales and collected the key in November 2014.

The bank kept charging me progressive interest from nov 2014-may 2015 before i went to the bank and check. I was told that the loan lawyer did not provide them some documentation for the last draw down. However, they got it from the lawyer in June 2015 and my first installment start july 2015.

I would have started paying my monthly installment earlier if they liaise for the documentation. Is that the bank or lawyer's fault? Did i lose out on the interest?

Please advise what shall i do now? Called the bank and they kept blaming the lawyer. Called the lawyer but he did not answer my call.

Hi sifus,

I have a maybank maxi loan account. I am paying via standing instruction which will deduct from my account every month.

I can also pay more by using the 'Online Bill Payment > Maybank Loan / Hire Purchase'.

I am paying slightly more than my installment amount every month but it will end up at the 'Payment In Advance' balance in my loan account. It does not reduce the principal amount. How do I pay so that it will reduce the principal amount of the loan instead of waiting to be deducted at the end of the month? Do I need to write in or it will just reduce the interest even if its in the payment in advance balance?

I am trying to look for a 4+1 rooms condo at mont kiara for own stay. I don't know where to start as there are too many condos there.

Budget is around rm 1.2. Prefer new projects. Don't think can get new project with this budget. Subsales would be my last option. Thanks.
