PHP emailing coding

Hie there, anyone can explains how this works and where should i start.

Actually, I'm building a system using PHP,Apache,MySQL in Linux.
A person need to generate a "random code" in order to upload doc to the server.
I need to send this "random code" to the particular person's email,
He'll then retrieve this code from his/her email.
This code will be entered in the 'upload file' page.
Server will compare both of the codes, if authentic, then transaction is successful.

I have no idea on how should i start, where can i get the information on the codes.
Anyone can help!!!! Thx

hie there.. anyone knows when is toyota gonna bring in this new model Toyota Vitz to malaysia? I've search through google, not much info found. The design is quite similar to MyVI. Not sure bout the price... if the price is around 50-60k.... too bad for myVi then..

Any info ? pls share ya... planning to get a new car, almost buying myVi, then suddenly heard of this Vitz....

Dual Boot

Hie,

This is what happening to me. I've previously installed Windows then Ubuntu in my PC. The system auto prompt me which OS to choose during the boot up. Everything works fine untill today I format my Windows. Now the system directly boot up Windows without asking me which OS to boot.
Does anyone know what kind of programs/setting I need to do in order for me to make a dual boot again?

Help ! Ubuntu - Realplayer

i;m newbie in linux. i've just install realplayer in my ubuntu. sad case is, there's no sound whenever i play the movies. not only that, i try to control the volume using command key of ( Fn + > ) which normally works in windows and NOT for ubuntu. Is there something wrong with my configuration?
Anyone knows what's happening ????

how to uninstall VMware tools in ubuntu

i;ve previously successfully install the vmware tools.. it works..
i update something, suddenly my vmwaretools is not working.

i tried to re-install, but it says there's a previous installation.
then i tried to uninstall by typing the vmware-uninstall-tools.pl command.
ERROR: command not found... anyone knows what's happening?
