hi , i would like to build a new rig since my current rig's mobo dead. i wish to take back some of my old parts.
please suggest me a RM800+- budget rig for gaming like dota2 and hon.

proc : prefer I3-3xxx as cheap as possible
mobo : must support usb3.0, prefer b75 chipset
ram : any 4gb ram 1600 a.c.a.p
gpu : sapphire hd7750 (old part)
hdd : seagate 120gb (old part)
psu : power logic 500w (old part)
casing : must have usb3.0 slot in front panel, better come with led fan, price must below rm120

btw, i had an old ide hdd, is there any mobo still provide ide connector? do Sri Computer sell ide to sata adapter and what is the price?

GPU : Gigabyte Nvidia GeForce 9500GT 512MB GDDR2 PCI-E 2.0
HDD : WD Blue 1TB
RAM : Corsair value ram 8GB
Casing : Power Logic Armageddon AK2
PSU : 550w PSU (come with casing)

Should i use integrated graphics processor instead of 9500GT as my display output?
Which one is better in term of gaming(Dota2,HoN,CoD), watching video and web surfing?

StarTec play cheat?

I had bought full set of gaming rig from StarTec last 2 weeks ago. The staff in StarTec just let me check the cpu spec during i make payment but he didn't open up and show me what is inside the dell monitor box. Ok lo, i assumed that everything should be inside since they are not bangladesh shop.

After i go back to home, i just realize that the power cable for dell monitor was missing. Only 3 cables being found inside the box which is VGA, DVI and USB cable. I quickly make a phone call to StarTec and tell them the issue. They willing to give me the power cable only if i go back to their shop. Ok lo, i go back and take the power cable.

wow, let's see what type of power cable i get.
WHERE IS MY ORIGINAL DELL U2312HM IPS MONITOR POWER CABLE!!!
StarTec YOU MOTHER FUKKER!!!

Update: Power cable should be provided by Dell for sure ! see the pic

Desktop for noob

My friend had decided to buy a desktop with RM2000~RM2500 budget.
First of all, he dun know how to use pc, even facebook or youtube.
Secondly, he wish to use this pc for watch movie and surfing.
Thirdly, he wish to have a larger screen monitor which is > 23''
Lastly, cooling must be good enough because his room doesn't have air cond.

Please give me some suggestions about what spec is suit for him

- Budget is RM2000 ~ RM3000
- Anyone know what is TV Tuner or IPTV (can watch worldwide TV channel ?? ).
- should I just suggest he to buy a HDTV plus some devices (analog signal receiver)?
- or should I suggest he to buy a desktop?
- actually what TV set and devices are needed?

Please give me some opinions or suggestions because I had very little knowledge in this field .

Good day, i wish to get some info from all gurus here

My case is like this:
One of my friend is heavy Astro user, he watch TV everyday but now he want to view even more TV show, movie and drama through internet without paying any fees exclude internet connection bill.

The Facts:
- He dun know how to use pc (100% new in world of computer)
- He wish to control the pc like a TV (remote control?)
- He wish to sit at far distance when watching movie or other show (monitor = TV)
- I dun think he can handle PPS due to the 1st fact.
- Budget is RM2000 ~ RM3000

Based on the facts above,
- Do I need to suggest he to buy a new desktop with large screen monitor?
- Anyone know what is TV Tuner or IPTV (can watch worldwide TV channel ?? ).
- Or I should just suggest he to buy a HDTV plus some devices (analog signal receiver) instead of desktop?
