Hi,

Not sure im in the correct place. If not kindly advice.

i interested to buy doll from japanese website like rakuten.jp. But wonder if it will be detained by customs. So, i need to know what condition will the item be detained. Is it the price, the quatity or the weight of the items.

I asked kastam, they said 10% but when i asked pos malaysia, they told me 17%. I read some of the post here also only 10% tax now im confused. why pos malaysia take 7% extra.

Kindly advice.

Buying Collector dolls form oversea

I plan to buy few collector dolls ship US/Japan, 3-4 boxes expected total price RM1600++, will i be taxed?
If i declare as gift, is there a limitation?

I wanna know on how to buy items using pay pal in US currency.

I ady had account with pay pal and i'm planning using my RHB debit card for purchasing. So can anyone tell me how can i started this? i'd link but hevent verified it yet coz i kind of afraid not taking any risk. so please guide and advice.

what i have:
pay pal account
RHB debit card

what i want to know:
1) if i verified my debit card, i will have money in MYR currency rite.
2) if i buy something in different currency , let say USD, system will convert automatically my MYR to USD?
3) Or do i need to open an USD account first?
4) How is the interest or charges?
