Am leaning towards Tokina 12-28mm f/4.0 AT-X Pro DX for my wide angle lens..am not keen to buy to popular 11-16mm due to its limited use other than landscape shooting since I would like to use the lens for street photography etc as well. May I get the review from the pros here who own this lens ? Review seems OK in the net...

Dear all,

I am going to buy a macro lens soon. Just wondering which 1 would you recommend, a Canon 60mm or Tamron AF SP 90mm f/2.8 Di VC USD Macro ? Canon has no IS while Tamron comes with VC.

I will be shooting insects primarily. I am leaning towards canon and not the 3rd party lens but the extra 30mm and VC seems tempting.

Suggestions is much appreciated. Thanks

am thinking of buying a macro lens. is image stablizeer important ? I wanna buy canon 60mm macro lens due to its compactness and it doesnt cme with IS like its L series counterpart... based on ur experience, is IS worth ? my second option is tamrom 90mm VC lens but it is quite bulky to my liking...

p/s:i normally shoot handheld and not tripod

mbp mid 2012 speaker to headphone lag

I noticed that on my new 13' macbook pro mid 2012 (non retina) seems to exhibit some lag when switching over from laptop speakers to headphone. For some odd reason, when I plug in my headphones while audio is playing on my laptop, it takes almost 3 seconds to switch the audio over to my headphones. Am i the isolated case for it?

Guys. Need your suggestions. currently looking for either a TV or monitor. the catch here is that i am currently on budget..which means that even if i opt for tv..i wouldnt be able to buy a FUll HD sony samsung 40' etc.. shld i buy a full hd Monitor within my budget or get a 720/full hd ayam brand TV? any disadvantage of using monitor over a TV for ps3 game?

Guys, wanna ask..i took a MOE (Ministry of Education) loan..the criteria is that i need to work in singapore for 3 years (either sg-based company or government job) to pay off my loan..

My question is, can i work elsewhere as long as i pay the loan debt? Anyone does it before? Pls advise thanks i appreciate it much..
