US based hosting companies affect website loading

Dear all sifus,

I have heard some very bad reviews for local hosting companies (even some big names).
Can anyone recommend a reliable hosting company that won't break the bank?

Otherwise, I might consider getting my website hosted in US based hosting companies.
My website is targeting Malaysian visitors. If the website is hosted in US, will the loading speed be very slow?
Will there be any noticeable difference in loading speed btw. Malaysia and US hosted website?

I had not renewed my license for 13 years...help!

Dear all,

I'm facing a rather unusual case in regards with my Driving License.
I had a CDL License before I finished high school. Then I went oversea to study, then worked.
I finally came back to this lovely land of Malaysia after 13 years.
I did no renew my driving license while I'm gone for the 13 years.
Now, I'm told I need to retake the driving test (test part 2 and 3). Is that true?
Is there anyway I can convert my valid US Driving License to Malaysia license?

Also, can I drive in Malaysia using US license temporarily?

Please help.
