Deactivate 4cylnder to 3cylinder engine on myvi

GUYs...i wanna ask an opinion....currently my rumate wanna try to...deactivate some cylinder injector...usually...those myvie got 4 pistons injected with fuel...so..he want to cut off 1 injector..making it only 3 pistons injected with fuel....common sense...when only 3 pistons on the run...it can saves fuel a lil more rite....Hows the negative effect of this super duper brilliant ideas(@ super stupid...err..i dnt know)...

FYI..he already tried it....wit his NEW myvi.....got lil' shaky, RPM goes down from 1000RPM-->800 RPM when idle....but still moving..no problem...havent test yet whether he really save more fuel or not (hopefully the engine doesnt damage when he wanna try it)..

So...guys...really glad for lil help in here...technical info would be better...
