I'm sharing an experience of scam call I just experienced this morning to prevent people from falling victim.

I received a suspicious phone call on 15 Aug 2019 9:19am Malaysia Time.
The caller number is 012-1506119 (Malaysia mobile number format).
After answering the call, it started with an automated voice (in mainland Chinese language that first raised my suspicion) that says this is from DHL, blah blah blah (couldnt understand), please press 9 for operator, which I pressed. Then I was connected to an male operator, speaking Chinese in mainland Chinese accent.

Me: I received this notification call saying that I have a DHL parcel (I did bought something from US days ago and have DHL Express parcel on the way from US at this time)
Operator: Do you have the freight number or phone number.
Me: Is this DHL office?
Operator: Yes I'm calling from DHL KL (Kuala Lumpur) office, anything wrong??
Me: Ok, take my phone number 01x-xxx-xxxx
Operator: ok wait a moment
....
Operator: You have a document coming from Shanghai custom, could you come and collect it at our address? (I suppose this scammer was expecting me to say "Oh I don't think I have anything coming from Shanghai" so he can proceed to his next story)
Me: Give me the address (I should've ask him why DHL does not deliver to my door step?)
Operator: Kuala Lumpur, Ampang, 128 (he might have make up an address in short time as he didnt expect the conversation will go this way)
Me: What? That's it? Is this place a DHL collection point?
Operator: Yes, anything wrong?? (saying this second time. A professional customer service for a big brand like DHL won't behave like this)
Me: I will go collect then. It's just sounds wrong because my DHL parcel is coming from the US, but you mentioned Shanghai. (finally i go his plot direction)
Operator: Oh, then there could be one issue, let me check, just a moment. (now he can proceed to his next lines on his script haha)
...
Operator: ok Sir, did you send something to Shanghai July this year?
Me: No I never sent anything to Shanghai
Operator: That's strange, based on our record it's under your name. And the report says you sent something illegal and hence the custom is taking action on you (some meaning like that, can't remember the exact words)
Me: In that case, show me the official document or notification from Shanghai custom.
Operator: That's why I am asking you to come to our place and collect the document.
Me: I won't entertain anything like this without official letter or email from DHL.
Operator: ok fine but be warned that's might be consequences or penalty (starting to threaten).
Me: It's fine, without official notification other than just phone call, I don't think the authority can do anything to me. Goodbye.

Thinking to lodge a police report to initiate investigation to stop people from falling victim to it.

Concern about Japanese version:
1. Power supply voltage & plug: No issue at all. Modern PS4 can use all 110V and 240V. Power Plug is 2 pin, just use multiplug

2. Region lock: PS4 games has no region lock. Blu-ray movies region 2 (Japan same as Southeast Asia so no issue). DVD movies Japan region 2, Southeast Asia region 3, you can switch to region 2 in console setting.

3. System Language: The system language and all interface can be switched to English just like any PS4 here.

Hi guys, I'm fairly new to Kuala Lumpur and I would like to ask for your advice which shop I can find a wide selection of lens filter, lens skirt, rubber lens hood and other accessories. I'm looking for size 82mm. Is lowyat a good start? Or is there any distributor where I can get them cheap?

Hi guys, I'm relatively new to car and I'm planning to buy my first luxury car, and I want it to be hybrid. So after some research, I narrow down to these 2 choices.
While I understand the pros and cons of a sedan and SUV, I still find it very hard to make a final decision. I have a family of 4 members (2 kids), so it can fit into Sedan and SUV.

Can the car sifus share some thoughts? maybe from the aspect of reliability, cost of service/maintenance, comfort, resale value etc. etc. to help me make up my mind.

Renovation Starting for Condominium - Need Advice

Hi Guys, I just bought my first house (condo) and am excited to get my hands on renovation for the very first time. I'm also worried about paying more than needed, therefore I would like to seek advice here from the experienced.

My first step is Floor Tiling. My condominium is 1900sqft. Subsale.

A contractor I have requested for quotation quoted me the following

1. To supply labour to demolish existing cabinet, bath tub and all sanitary wares (1900sqft, 3 bathrooms) - Lump sum RM5000
2. To supply labour to demolish existing floor tiles and timber flooring (1900sf) - unit Price RM1.5 = RM2850
3. To supply labour to demoslish existing wall tiles at bathroom area (680sf) - Unit Price RM1.5 = RM1020
4. To supply material and labour to lay floor tiles and skrting (2100sf including balcony) - Unit Price RM6.5 = RM13,650
5. To supply material and labour to lay wall tiles (680sf) - Unit Price RM6.5 - RM4420
6. To supply selected design of floor tiles and skirting (including wastage) (2100sf) - Unit Price RM5 - RM10,500
7. To supply selected design of wall tiles (including wastage (750sf) - Unit Price RM5 - RM3750

Appreciate if the brothers can enlighten me whether these quotes are reasonable. Thank you!

I have seen some softwares advertised as being able to improve your connection speed, latency in games by optimizing your MTU value, packet transfer etc.
My questions are: do they actually work? Will you be able to distinguish the difference after optimizing your internet setting with it?
If it helps, I would love to get some recommendations on this type of software
