Toyota 2AZ-FE 2.4 Engine Problem

Hi,

Any Toyota owner here with 2AZ-FE engine (Model like Camry, Alphard, Estima, vellfire) experience coolant loose due to head bolt stripped off. When the two rear head bolts lose their clamping ability they allow coolant to seep out at the rear of the cylinder head.

How much cost to re-thread those head lose thread include workmanship?

My Alphard 2.4 year 2003 seem to have this problem. Foreman say alphard engine need to completely take off from engine bay in order to repair the lose head thread and replace head gasket. Gonna burn me few k if the day come.
