Business Loan Rejected Due To Bounced Cheques

HERE'S THE BACKGROUND:

1. Business needs some capital injections, applied for 120k loan
2. According to the bank, everything else is perfect, all the paperworks, supporting documents, all is OK
3. Except for the bounced cheques prob, about 3 or 4 in the last 3 years
4. All were post-dated cheques for suppliers, none of them are for loan repayment
5. All happened due to clerical/book-keeping errors on our part, like the date on the cheque didn't match, for eg: cheque date is on the 7th, but in our record, it's on the 17th, hence the insufficient balance on the 7th....small errors (but fatal) like that
6. The status for the loan application is now, rejected, but the bank says we can still appeal.

MY QUESTION:
What's the best way to appeal to the bank?

Greatly appreciate the input, especially from those who have experienced this, also those from the banking industry.

Thanks.
