F&B charging PH rate on 17 Sept

Hi all,

Would like to hear your thoughts on a particular F&B buffet restaurant that decided to charge their Public Holiday rate on the 17th September, even though it is not a national public holiday as there is no replacement given for the two PH falling on the 16th.

They countered me with a letter from Malaysian Plastics Manufacterers Association stating that “the employee may, with the employee’s agreement replace the PH to another day (17th Sept)”

so how does that apply to us consumers…? Again, would love to hear your take on this - would you be alright to pay the extra $ and not be bothered by the ‘company declared and recognised holiday’ or no?

A Levels at HELP University

Hi there, is anyone currently studying A Levels at HELP? May I know how are the lecturers and etc? I'm worried because I will be under their SASA scholarship and I would have to take 4 subjects. The problem here is the only choices left I have is Maths and Physics. (Plan to take Maths, Biology and Chemistry) I dislike Physics a lot because I had a crappy teacher back in high school. I'm not an Add Maths pro too. If I fail, my scholarship would be revoked.

Any advice out there? Are the lecturers good because I really need them lol.

A Levels vs Foundation

I am not sure which pre-U to choose in the future. I am thinking of doing Foundation In Science and then pursuing a degree here. I know with A Levels, you can study overseas which I'm not planning to. Also, if I did foundation instead of A-levels, is it possible to apply for scholarships? I'm afraid they only accept A-Levels. Which college offers a good Foundation in Science course?

Hi there! Any thoughts on the foundation in Science course at HELP University? I might be going for this course and I am still unsure whether if it is a good course. If anyone is in HELP University/College, I'll appreciate it if you share your experience at HELP. (lecturers, classes, management and etc)
