HSK ( 新汉语水平考试)

China's Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi, known as HSK or the Chinese Proficiency Test is a standardized test at the state level designed and developed by the HSK Center of Beijing Language and Culture University to assess the Chinese proficiency of non-native speakers (foreigners, overseas Chinese and students of Chinese national minorities).

It consists of 6 levels writing test and 3 levels oral test, aiming to provide a platform for the adult learners toassess their ability upon completing each level. It serves as an international benchmark for the purposes of academic pursuit and to meet living and working needs.

Level 1- 150 words, basic mandarin structure and vocabularies
Level 2- 300 words, basic mandarin which is useful in daily life
Level 3- 600 words, able to communicate and understand
Level 4- 1,200 words, able to discuss, giving opinions in Mandarin fluently
Level 5- 2,500 words, able to read Chinese magazines, understand Chinese dramas or movies
Level 6- 5,000 words, able to express and convey any messages, can communicate fluently

Test Center Malaysia is managed by Eshia & Associates Sdn Bhd, the country representative of US-based Educational Testing Service (ETS) in Malaysia for TOEIC and TOEFL family of products.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the two entities which will see PD & U offering training courses for its students preparing for the TOEIC Listening & Reading test, TOEIC Speaking & Writing test, TOEIC Bridge test and TOEFL Junior Standard test.

The PD & U training centre intends to promote their course to working professionals, students as well as expatriates particularly from South Korea, and aims to expand its reach to include Japanese and Iranians.

We are offering various TOEIC and TOEFL Junior programs in Malaysia and we are looking into the recruitment of international students.
