I am new in all of this, and I really need help on this.
I got this quote from developer's lawyer for loan agreement.
can sifus/experts advise me if the amount quoted is reasonable?

my loan amount is 408600 but they're charging 2270 for stamp duty
Is the stamp duty based on loan amount or property amount?
if based on loan amount, it should only be around 2043?

And is there any discount that I can ask for?

I may ask for another quotation from bank's appointed lawyer.

Hotel employees opened my car

hi all,

need serious advise here.
i parked my car at hotel yesterday night and when i collect my car this morning, i saw 2 of the hotel employees opening my car.
after asking why they can open my car, they said they had mistaken my car for the car from valet parking (without first checking my car plate number).

i mean how can another car's key open my car? and what should i do about car key and lock?

and also what actions can i take against this hotel?

please advise.

Landlord issues

Hi all,

I've been staying at my current flat for about 3.5 years.
I have never paid a single cent for the indah water so far as my landlord has never told me to pay it when I agreed to rent the place in 2010.
Basically he didn't tell me I have to pay extra besides the rental.
My tenancy agreement has already expired in 2011 and I asked him about renewing it previously.
He said he will settle it but to date I did not receive any new copy of the of the contract.

A couple months back, I needed to change the lights in the house, it's already twice, and I told him I'd like to deduct it from the rental and he told me to refer to tenancy agreement, he said all of it needs to be paid by tenant and that this is such a small issue that shld be fixed by tenant. And he said I should definitely pay it because he rented the flat cheap to me and has never increase a single cent since 2010.
He said if I were to rent from others, it would be more at least rm100-150 more than what I'm currently paying.
I didn't want to argue since I already paid for it.

So recently I got the Indah water bill amounting RM120 in which I told him to come and collect.
But he told me that I am responsible for it again since I'm the one using the toilet. And again he said to refer to the tenancy agreement.
I mean he collected a few indah water bill this few years, its obvious he can see no payment was done for it and yet he didn't say a single word.
Now he's saying he thought I knew I had to pay. WTH!
How do I know if he had renewed the contract? Do I need to sign on the tenancy agreement for it to take effect?
Can anyone tell me what can I do? I really do not wish to pay for things that I didn't agree to.

Transferring Money to Taiwan

How do I transfer money to Taiwan. The person only has an account in post office and not the bank.
I just called Western Union, they said it's not possible to do so and the person in Taiwan needs to go to a Western Union branch to collect the money.
Is there anyway I can remit the money to the post office account?
