Anyone have experience researching which smartphones are best suited for seniors / elderly.
Like which brand/OS has specific mode for senior friendly - ie. Very basic UI that anyone can navigate without being confused, large icons.
Functions needed is WhatsApp call answering and calling only. Oh annd also in Chinese characters.

Budget TV Brand Recommendations

Hi there, am looking to get a TV for my rental apartment unit (airbnb, short-term rentals) and looking for a budget TV. Don't really need to be high spec 4k etc. What is important is that it is reliable (less chance of issues) or at least reliable warranty service if any issues.

I'm guessing brands that fit here would be TCL, Hisense, Xiaomi, Skyworth etc.
Can someone recommend which brand should be ok and ones to avoid? My own assumption is Hisense seems ok because know few ppl who have bought and Skyworth is the least popular out of these. But appreciate more opinions.

For specs Im looking at:
- Reliability (less issues or good warranty service)
- Smart TV apps (netflix,youtube, screencast etc.) would be bonus, but not necessary since normally using MiBox that can upgrade every few years if TV app is too old.
- Size: 50" - 55"

Recommendation for all-purpose light gamer monitor

Hello, don't really know much about selecting monitors, but have been doing some research for past 2 days, and know as much as differences between ips/va/tn, refresh rate.
Can someone recommend me based on my use:

- Use for PC ( i7-8700 CPU, GeForce GTX 1060 6GB GPU)
- Also connect to Macbook Air M1
- Mainly for work/producitivity (design, adobe suite, 3d, AutoCAD), internet surfing and videos
- Very casual light gaming.
- May connect to a PS4 later once in a while
- Dual monitor setup - plan to get a new main one, and use my current old 24" dell as the secondary
- Size: 27" - maybe 30"/32" if price not so much difference
- 16:9 ratio size, flat screen

Budget: max rm800, but if can get under rm600 would be good

Question:
1. Which type monitor should I get between IPS/VA? - From my research seems like IPS would be the all-rounder better choice in general?
2. Refresh rate - 75hz, 144hz, 165hz. Initially thought I would search for 165hz monitors, but I realise this mainly for gaming right? Is it overkill to have this rate or should I just look at 75hz? Does my PC/Macbook m1 specs even support 165hz and above?
3. What other specs of monitor should I look for to determine my choice?
4. What are reputable brands, and brands to avoid?

In the past, Prepaid plans are normally considered cheaper than Postpaid plans. But now, I really can't see much difference between the two when comparing plans within the same telco.

For example, am looking to get Xpax package, and comparing between Postpaid & Prepaid options, cost-wise more or less the same for equivalent plans:

Xpax Postpaid 40: RM40
- 20gb data
- free use for Youtube, Fb, Instagram
- Unlimited calls

Xpax Prepaid Option 1: RM43
- 30gb data
- unlimited calls
- added free use as same as above for comparison

Xpax Prepaid Option 2: RM43
- Unlimited data
- Unlimited calls

Postpaid pro/cons:
[+] auto payment
[ - ] need to request termination if not needed anymore

Prepaid pro/cons:
[-] require to manually top-up/buy plan every month
[+] can just let number expire if not needed anymore

To me, seems like I Postpaid option is better choice as its just few ringgit cheaper, and able to auto pay.
Is there anything else Im not aware of between Postpaid & Prepaid pro/cons?

Maxis Business Line assistance

Hi there,

We have been long time using Maxis Business line for our family company and have no issues. Unfortunately since last year due to Covid and the economy; the business has been struggling really bad to the point of we just want to wind up the company; but we need few more months to cover some outstanding debt. We are trying to cut our operation expense to the minimum; and even struggling to pay the monthly maxis business lines.
We've enquired if there's any assistance or possibility to terminate the contract; however Maxis has been really cold and not caring for businesses during these tough times and mentioned we would need to pay the whole sum of contract which is till end of year.
Is there anyway to resolve this, or transfer these maxis lines to other users? Or even reducing the number of lines?
Maxis seems pretty unhelpful and no compassion in these situations
