Immigration detention

A friend of mine being send to detention camp when they found out one of the second home chip remained fake. He’s being cheated by the agent previously during the application of second home but immigration refused to let other ppl visit him and stop us from paying visit even though he’s been paying the compound. Lawyer also no use, doing nothing but just ask us wait and wait for no reason at all. Should anyone know where can we seek help to see my friends? As we know, they just provide one contact and that’s also very frustrated as every time calling being rejected without reason.

Renovation deposit being stolen

Hi, anyone experienced before renovation deposit being stolen by ex-managenment staff? My case is i pay 1k for renovation deposit in cash. The staff did issue a letter and ask my husband to bring along the letter when we request for refund. Then we realize it took too long ( my careless hubby totally forgot his refund alrd)....finally turn out both the staff resigned and our record being told totally not found in their filing? Im v frustrated and we didnt have any documentation support since pay in cash and the letter being took by the ex-staff when asking for refund. Now want to do? Report police, they refuse provide any further details.call so many times just told us will follow up. Do i need to call the developer straigt away? Coz now im deal with the management office. Currently just have the renovation receipt with me and one witness from management who do checking after renovation daone. Million thanks if any1 could provide any advice for me.
