Malaysia Watch Group welcomes you to the first annual gathering together (GTG) dinner for the year of 2018.

The main objective of the of this dinner is to gather all MWGians and fellow watch enthusiasts to share the joy of watch collecting regardless of the brand and it is about time to meet up and get to know the person behind those great and amazing wristshots and also to have a look at the watches and definitely with a GTG wristshot.

Weak Signal coverage in Taman Segar

Hi, I have been a Maxis user all the while and recently the signal in Taman Segar is very weak and dropped to 1 bar/none inside my house. The signal used to be very strong 4G with full bars inside my house. Can you send someone to fix the signal tower?

TM Unifi Free Upgrade FORGOTTEN/DELAY TILL NOW!

This is pure bullshit, I have received the TM Thankyou surprises and click on link to register and got back an email saying that my account will be upgraded for free back on 20 January.

Almost 9 months after I recheck it is still not being upgraded. Talked to livechat and got replied first it should be upgraded then they reply there is error with technical availability.
So now only offer for JumboPack or WEBE which is totally useless to me.

This is real bad and totally feel like being cheated. What supposed to be there from February till now has been the same old not upgraded Unifi.

After complaining via livechat they decided to call me, still saying I'm not eligible for upgrade at first despite having this email received.

However they say they will try to provide free upgrade to me at the end of October.

This means I am being ripped off by having 30mbps which is supposing 50mbps from Feb2 017 till Oct 2017 and still not guarantee to have the upgrade this month.

Worst thing is I have found out more people not getting the upgrade and in same situation in this thread in Kopitiam.

GYM Cleanliness/Maintenance Status

Hi guys, I have enrolled for one of the major gym at one branch but I am quite disappointed with the hygiene and maintenance by the management there.

Would any of you be kind to rate the gym you go?

1. GYM - Branch:

2. Hygiene : Pros: Cleaner clean equipment after use, members use towels, self cleaning tools provided (antibacteria)
Cons: Sticky/sweaty seats, dirty toilets, wet running machine soak in sweat, dirty lockers

3. Equipment Maintenance: Pros: Fast repair on damaged tool, clean towels,
Cons: Spoilt lockers, seat leather (cracked), damaged machine, dangerous cracked mirror, rusty metal handle etc

4. Environment: Pros: Good air ventilation, spacious, friendly PT/members, nice songs,
Cons: Stuffy and lack of oxygen, packed gym with not enough equipment, arrogant/bossy/pushy PT/advisors, poor song choices

5. Overall: Opinion and comments.

Preventing circumvention of OpenDNS with firewall rules

If your network security allows users to change the local DNS IP server address to something other than OpenDNS' IP addresses, savvy users may try to bypass OpenDNS in this way. However, it should be possible to not allow those other DNS services through your network firewall to the Internet, which will prevent these users from circumventing the protection.

Most routers and firewalls will allow you to force all DNS traffic over port 53 on the router, thus requiring everyone on the network to use the DNS settings defined on the router (in this case, OpenDNS). The preferred recommendation is to forward all DNS requests to of non-opendns IP's to go to the openDNS IP's listed below instead. This way, you simply forward' people's DNS requests without them knowing, instead of having the possibility of someone manually configuring DNS and having it just not work.

Alternately, you create a firewall rule to only allow DNS (TCP/UDP) to OpenDNS' servers and restrict all other DNS traffic to any other IPs.

Essentially, add the following filter or rule to the firewall that is at the edge of the network:

ALLOW TCP/UDP IN/OUT to 208.67.222.222 or 208.67.220.220 on Port 53

and

BLOCK TCP/UDP IN/OUT all IP addresses on Port 53

The first rule trumps the second rule, so anything requests to OpenDNS are allowed but any DNS requests to any other IP are blocked.

Depending on your firewall configuration interface, you may need to configure a separate rule for each of these protocols or one rule which covers them both.
The rule can be applied on either the firewall or the router, but normally is best placed on the device most at network edge. A similar rule could be applied to software firewalls installed on a workstation as well, such as the built-in firewall on Windows or Mac OS/X.
Unfortunately, individual configurations are not something OpenDNS is able to assist in supporting, as each firewall or router has a unique configuration interface and these vary greatly. If you are uncertain, you should check your router or firewall documentation or contact the manufacturer to see if this is possible with your device.

04 Harrier/Lexus Model with Front Suspension Noise

My 04 Harrier had this annoying front suspension noise everytime I go through a bump or some uneven surface.

The sound seems to be from the mid absorber part. Changed all the absorber/mounting and the sound lessen but still exist.

Appreciate if anyone can advise on this matter.

Headlight and Body Wrap (Self healing)

Dear all,

I am in midst of considering to wrap my car with those self-healing wrap such as Expel on the headlight or car paint.

I have been told that when the wrap on headlight causes it to trap heat inside and thus reducing the lifespan of the headlight cover, causing crack and yellow faster etc.

Are there anyone using it and any review on long term effect?

Car resell value is around RM 5000 thus not looking for expensive tint or security.

Hi, I am looking for gyms near Old Klang Road that is not too expensive. I have joined Chi Fitness for groupon promotion and it was a good deal, a month for RM58. The real membership even under promotion for 6 months contract is rather expensive RM 139/m with additional membership, card etc when compared to other fitness centres.

I am looking for some gym ranging from RM50-RM80/month. If there are any good gyms around Old Klang Road or pearl point please advice, thank you!
