Maxis Fibre Archer C5v + Chromecast 3

Hi guys,

Have been using Maxis provided modem, Archer C5v, for some time now but still couldn't figure out how to properly set up my Chromecast 3 to other android phones, probably due to the fact that there's no option on Maxis firmware to disable AP isolation.

Anyone managed to find any solution to this?

Mom nagging me everyday to set up the Chromecast so she can YouTube all day long 😕

Going crazy soon from all the nagging. Save me guys 😭😭😭

Hi. Want to try stock trading but I'm not sure which IB charges the lowest fees. Reading through the forum seems like M+ but I'd prefer IBs. Checked http://dividendmagic.com.my/malaysia-stock...ers-comparison/ seems like almost the same. But how bout remisier's commission, stamp duty, etc.?

Aside from the fees, in terms of mobile app experience so far, what would you guys recommend?

Shares purchasing platform

Hi guys, have around 3k on hand and would like to purchase some local shares on a medium-term basis (say, 5 years). I understand that the transaction charges would take up a high percentage of the profits(if any) and subsequently, would not try to do overly active trading with small amount. Which online platform is suitable for this? Or which is suitable for passive stock trading? Currently I've only heard of the more popular ones like Amesecurities, CIMB, Jupiter, etc.

P.S. Don't really need a dealer if possible, just to cut down the fees.

If possible, can you also provide the exact fees? Thank you.

Lower arm hurts when doing biceps

My left lower arm (should be the brachioradialis) hurts when I'm trying to lift some weights. It's like some electric current flowing through my nerves whenever I try to do biceps. Nothing's wrong with my right hand though.

Any solution guys?

Business degree double major

I'm now a university student pursuing a business degree. Since double major is provided at the uni(same cost as single major), I'm facing some dilemma here whether to have my second major as accounting or marketing. While I do realize that the knowledge in accounting is somewhat useful and important to get some financial jobs, I personally prefer marketing over accounting classes. Now the main question here is: Will I be at disadvantage to obtain financial roles like fund manager and credit analyst if I did not major in accounting? How far does second-majoring in accounting/marketing help me in this case?

*Btw, I don't really plan to complete ACCA and become a certified accountant as accounting is really not of my interest although I don't find it too challenging. Nonetheless, completing CFA level I after working for 1 to 2 years is a part of my plan.

Any other relevant experience or opinion you guys think it might help me is appreciated

CGPA for getting into banks in Malaysia

JPA scholarship for SAM leaver

I finished SAM last year, got an ATAR of 92.. Hoping to get any possible financial aids from any bodies out there to further my degree studies...
I believe JPA scholarship should be the easiest one to get among all others since they are giving out a significantly larger amount of grant compared to other bodies. But just like most financial aids, it seems to overlook SAM. Hence, the question here, is it possible to get a JPA scholarship with SAM result?

Okay... so I'm wondering which private university is (in your opinion)good or best in Malaysia, for business studies like Finance and Banking/Econs? Please feel free to share your experience and opinion in enrolling in such courses at your current or previous universities

I've currently look through the outlines of finance-related courses of unis like Taylor's, Monash, Help and Nottingham. Pretty similar to each other's but Help's outline seems like their are teaching more in-dept and useful stuff. Also, it seems like accounting has to be included in any of the business courses. Is it true? I don't really like accounts

I would also like to know how long has the university been running the course. Tell me if you have any of the slightest ideas

Pharmacy degree

Well.. I'm planning to do Pharmacy with a limited budget, hence locally. So this leaves me two choices, either Monash Sunway or IMU. The fees are quite near to each another, except that IMU is nearer to my house and I won't have to pay LDP toll if I'm going to IMU. Though Monash is much more reputable than IMU, I've heard people saying the Pharmacy course at Monash Sunway isn't really that good and some suggested me to go for Pharmacy at IMU. Anyway, I'm still looking forward to studying at Monash, cause you know.. the name and cert..
So... any current students of either uni mind helping a lost soul here?
Suggestion and experience are appreciated WHERE SHOULD I GOOOOO

*Extra "something" here. I'm not actually sure about what to pursue for degree.. and many of my friends are going for engineering.. So, comparing engineering (chemical, mechanical, civil, electrical, etc) and Pharmacy, which is harder? I'm not really good at math though

Scholarships For SAM, at Taylor's

Alright, I actually registered SAM at Taylor's this afternoon. And now I'm wondering if I can apply scholarship by using my result of the first semester. If I can, who are the sponsors ? What are the criteria ?
I have heard that it's really hard to achieve the requirement of the scholarship, but perhaps it could be a motivation to me even if I couldn't manage it.
So if anyone here has an idea, leave it here !

Double Major

Alright, this is the problem. I'm really interested in Psychology, and willing to major it . But for sure, I would have to stop my study after getting my degree, as in Bachelor, in order not to increase too much burdens for my family as we still have a younger sister waiting to pursue her destiny.

I understand that Psychology major with only a degree isn't enough and is somehow useless at certain points. But then, I heard of this ''double major'' thing. Which may help me to continue majoring in Psychology without worrying to get no job after graduate.

So, which college in Malaysia actually offers Double major? Or is it true that all of them offer it? And what are the recommended courses to be taken as the second course to major that can work with Psychology as well?

BTW, any information about Psychology courses and double majoring is welcomed to be replied, too D
