Need help! Ground Control 2 game speed too fast?!

Installed Ground Control 2, never played before. Man, kept it for 6 months before getting to install it at last. The main menu background video is very fast. In-game the scroll speed is extreme although the setting is only at 25%. Units travel across the screen in half a second or less. What's happening? Is this a driver issue?

I use an AMD X2 AM2, 7900GT with 1GB of DDR2 RAM. Perhaps my graphic card doesn't support the game?

T72: Balkans on Fire

Anyone playing T72: Balkans on Fire? I'd love to discuss about it since I'm pretty nooby about tank sims. On paper Silent Hunter 3 would have been much tougher but to me, T72 is a struggle while SH series are a walk in the park (at least can sink a good number of ships without getting killed).

Purchased T72:BoF almost a year back but never played it due to lack of time. Then a friend was playing it and complained it was very difficult to learn the controls, forget winning a mission.

I began playing it and foh! Its tough indeed. I'd put the blame on my own lack of tank operation knowledge. I have some knowledge about the application of modern tanks in combat from an external POV but never figured how to operate one internally. Guess I have the chance now, since my friend challenged me to win the game.

The graphics is a bit elderly by now but stil respectable, somehow my 7900GT lags at times to my wonder. The enemy AI is skilled compared to my own tank's AI and the AI under my command are not persistent (or is it me?). The driver AI can never drive as fast as I can, the gunner AI is downright useless for shooting infantry (took me some time to find out how to stop the bugger from firing away all my MG ammo while I drove) and can be either useless or wonderful with the main gun at times. The commander AI is slow to find threats, I largely depend on myself.

Ammunition selection is trial and error since I have no idea what the 3 or 2 letter designations mean (no B in armour-piercing, hollow-charge). Since its developed in Russia or Ukraine or somewhere in the CIS region and the theatre of combat is also in the area I guess the designation is the shortform of the ammo in Russian service. I learnt which was AP,HE or hollow-charge by observing its trajectory and effect on my target. I must say I was rather disappointed when UR did not turn out to be Depleted Uranium shells, haha, but how can a Volunteer unit obtain such exotic stuff. Then again, theres a huge black market there at the time isnt it? Anyways, its stil quite as effective as a DU but Im still wondering how to control its flight. Its supposed to be a ATGW (Anti Tank,Guided - Wire) right? Never did try to fire the precious weapon at a mobile target before.

Physics leaves much to imagine. Can a tank go turtle so easily? Maybe. HE rounds sending a MTLB turtle with a near-miss?? A jeep can still move after being hit by a hollow charge square in the back?? Guess I cant expect too much, for a relatively unknown developer, they did pretty good. For me one complaint would be not knowing whether my targeted tank was stil capable of opposition after being hit. If its just one tank there I'd put another AP into the turret to make sure its gun stays silent, nevermind if it can stil move. When facing two tanks, that's the issue. After a hit (but cant see the exact impact spot due to gun smoke) should I turn and fire at the next or will it continue to fire at me? Its tough especially if you cant retreat to cover. The 8-10 second reload time for the main gun can be very unnerving in a close fight.

Until now my favorite moments are killing a flying Mi-8 with my main gun from 700m and single-handedly destroy a T72,MTLB,three T-55s,a Shturm-S ATGW carrier, another MTLB then four supply trucks along with at least a dozen infantry in between....all in a period of less than 5 minutes.

Scripted events does reduce replayability but this is slightly neutralised by the some units not appearing at the exact spot and not moving along an exact path every time you play. At least one gets to make his/her own missions with the editor. Its a little disappointment that we cant drive the Leopard. The T34 is a little out of place in the 90's. Anyone know a sim where I get to drive a T34 or Panther in WW2?

PSU for mid/high end gaming/oc platform

I will be getting a PC with these specs :

AMD X2 AM2 3800+
Biostar Tforce550
Corsair VS DDR667 1-2GB RAM
XFX 7900GT / Sapphire X1900XT
Seagate Barracuda 80GB SATA2
WD 160GB PATA
DVD-RW

I will be using an i-Cute 500W PSU which comes with the casing. I've read in a lot of places here i-Cute is not really recommended, although I've also read that some guys actually ran their PC 24/7 for months without problem while using an i-Cute PSU.

So can my PSU handle the specs? Im comfortable if I'm using the 7900GT but the X1900XT really eats power. Don't want to lose hardware due to instability with the PSU. Oh yes, I will be doing some oc'ing with the CPU/RAM but not the GC. A non-oc friend of mine may get an identical system like mine, so is the PSU OK for him, if not for me?

As for myself, if not i-Cute then what? Any PSU you guys recommend?
