Problem details
First occurence of problem: few month ago
Problem frequency: 3 to 5 hours
Problem description:

at the BBB(bandar baru bangi), the Telekom said the phone and streamyx port was full. so, i have no choice to 'borrowed' a 'link' from neighbor beside me.

i put a modem+router (prolink) at my neighbor house. the modem was not function because it was spoil(maybe), so i used it as a router. so, the prolink connect to a long cable which is connect to my house, a cable which is connect to modem (billion) and last one is connect to my neighbor laptop.

my neighbor may changing his laptop with his brother laptop. his brother laptop, had configured to his company network so that he can access to his company network for file sharing.(virtual private server)

the problem is when the brother connect to the company server, he cant used the setting that i had set in the modem. he had to dial up himself to use the broadband. and when he dial up, other pc cant get online, means that others pc is disconnected.

now, recently i found another problem. my house pc is connected to the prolink router through a aztech swtich, then the neighbour(not the brother) also connect to the router, lastly of course connecting to the modem. after few hours (3 or 5) the connection was lost!!! and few hours (less than 10) later, the connection is back. there was nobody disturbing on the connection. so what is the problem??? does this happened??? or maybe the connection is disturb by people???

i am using prolink hurricane 9000p
it is 4-port ADSL modem/router, 2 in 1 adsl modem lah...

the problem are:
1. i cant ping with the modem with running 'ping 10.0.0.2 -t'
2. either me or my housemate pc can only connect to the streamyx

so, can any one give me some guideline to solve my silly problem????
