Acer laptop issues

Guys, I have a problem which I hope you could help me shed some light on.

Laptop is an Acer Aspire E 15 (E5-571G-76HB)
8 GB ram, 1000GB HDD, Intel i7, Nvidia Geforce 840M, Windows 10.

So about a month ago, while using the laptop, the screen was suddenly filled with red and green dots all over. Not static, but moving and flickering. I searched online and apparently it was a problem with the GPU. I tested with an external monitor and it was also the same.

I sent it in for repair to my dads friend and apparently he cleaned the fans and replaced the GPU. He said it works fine for about half an hour until it shuts down by itself.

This problem still isn't solved and we're collecting the laptop tonight and I'm planning to send in to Acer if there's no other solution. But it seems like it may be useless.

The warranty is over as well (1 year). Bought last year CNY. The laptop was charging when this happened and I also just installed the windows 10th anniversary update. I noticed that the laptop gets very hot when charging. But other times it is very cool and the fans aren't working hard. I also checked the temperature before handing in for repair and nothing was out of the ordinary. About 50°C.

Any help will be appreciated, thanks guys!

Update: I've gotten my laptop back. So here's the situation: It refuses to power on. When I press the power button, the laptop starts up, the power light and the fans come on, but no less than 5 seconds later, it switches off.
Can't port over to celcom

Hi, anyone here knows the conditions for porting over from digi prepaid to celcom postpaid?
My request to port was rejected apparently because I recently changed my number's registered name to mine from my dad's. They said have to continue using for another 13 months before I'm allowed to port over.

Anyone here can help me?
ISP throttling?

Broadband provider
ISP/package: Time 8 Mbps
Location: Penang Island
Have you called your ISP's helpline?: Nope

Personal equipment
Modem:
Router:
Firewall used:

Problem details
First occurence of problem: The first time I tried watching Twitch.tv
Problem frequency: Every time
Problem description: I just moved in to a new apartment and subscribed to Time's 8 Mbps package. Every thing is completely fine and as fast as it should be until I try watching something on Twitch. Every channel and stream I try is the same and its extremely slow. Even in low quality. I noticed that when I start watching streams, the connection speed drops below 100k/s and remains there for the entire time. I've tried running Glasnost and nothing comes up and apparently everything is as it should be. Its frustrating as i used to watch a lot of streams, any help would be really appreciated. =)

Modem Issues

Broadband provider
ISP/package: Streamyx 4 Mbps
Location:Penang
Have you called your ISP's helpline?:Not yet.

Personal equipment
Modem: Innacomm W3400V6
Router:
Firewall used:

Problem details
First occurence of problem: Today
Problem frequency: Since the start of the problem
Problem description: Tmnet recently installed a new broadband line about a week after my family moved in our new place. The Riger modem they gave had terrible WiFi signal strength and I had the Tmnet guy switch it out with our old Innacomm modem we used at our old place. Everything seemed fine until a few hours later when our line started having very high ping, constantly at 1000 ms and above. And sometimes I would see it go up until 3000 ms. We had the same problem in my old place from the start of this year and I always thought it was Tm problem. But the Riger modem had stable ping, always below 100 ms but still terrible signal strength. Both modems look exactly the same(silver and square with Tm logo on top). The problem seems to be the modem so far,but I would really like some help in solving this problem...><
