Most effective way to sell your product

To put it simply

I have a friend whose father owns a factory that makes pasta abroad and has told me they can sell to me for a good price if I am capable of moving such a product in Malaysia.

Does anyone here have any experience in import/export of Fast moving consumer goods (FMCG)?

What would you advice?

Is the easiest method for me simply finding a distributor and selling to him (after very small mark up...small profit for me). This way no stress and no problem, they already have distribution channels set up. I dont worry about logistics and other headache

I heard dealing with hypermarkets is very complicated and you have no real power....sometimes they dont pay you for 3 months

any help will be much appreciated

thanks

Shelf Company, scam or not?

Hi

Me and my partner wanted to start a new business and we decided to form a SDN BHD, but we dont want to go through all the red tape and paperwork. Therefore we search online and come across websites stating they sell "ready made shelf company" never been used, and all you need is "ONLY RM2,500" and you will buy ready made shelf company from them.....no stress, no worry...but I am skeptical.

Is this practice common in Malaysia? and is it 100% legal?

Thank you all in advance!

PS: Price is now reduced to 1460 RM
