Kam share your first accident/collision

Recently there are quite a number of my friends and family who have met with accidents albeit minor ones. I for once *touch wood* haven't encountered one yet as a driver but did so as a passenger. Kam kam share your story on first accident/collision, whether you're the driver, passenger or pedestrian.

My story

Accident: Was the back seat passenger. Happened 2 years ago near Kepong Carrefour. The car I was in came to a stop at the traffic junction and all of a sudden, a bus from behind failed to brake in time and rammed into us.

Damage: Broken tail lights and bumper. Bus got no issue lol.

Injury: The impact caused me to have chest pain and trouble breathing for about 3 days. Driver (my dad) was fine.

What is the toughest secret you come by?

First of all, I wouldn't consider own secrets to be secrets, they're just personal matters. It's the things that people tell you or you tell people. Like after living for so long, after plenty of "please keep this to yourself" and "don't tell anyone", lately I actually feel burdened by something my buddy decided to tell me.

All this while, everybody sees him as a person with a happy family. Then all of a sudden, the parents are getting a divorce, one is terminally ill etc. Now whenever I hear somebody saying to him, why you so big already still very hard to come out and lepak? And even behind his back, they chit chat and he became the topic, saying why he a little bit also stressed la emo la, just face it and live life like a grown up. Honestly I feel really annoyed that I can't defend him. Sked will spill the secret.

And today, a close female friend in early 20s who is always the target of guys revealed to me she's been dating somebody almost twice her age for the past god knows how long.

With this and many more, I don't know why the hell they pick me. It's not like I will tell the other mutual friends. I just can't stand it! I cannot know all this.

End of ranting.

a proud best friend 10 years ago

have you ever been so close to a person where just one look in the eyes, you knew exactly what he/she was thinking. and everybody knew if they messed with one of you, they are messing with two people altogether. and if they tell one of you something, the other will know nothing less.

that friendship that made you realise a stranger could actually end up be the person you can rely on everything, forever. the one person who you can bro/gf and actually meant it. and then something happened. could be school graduation, someone going far away, a separation or an argument.

today, i read her status and wanted to comment something funny. but i hesitated, then i moved on.

what i didn't know was no matter how close you can get with a person, he or she can easily go back to the state of stranger they were back then.

how precious is your "I Love You"?

one amoi posted this on her fb, "Don't say you love me unless you really mean it, cause I might do something crazy like believe it."

it got me thinking how often do i say this and i realised this phrase used to pop out of my mouth very frequently when i was younger but not recently.

so /k, do you say it often? when was the last time you said it? and how much do you really mean it?

do you feel equally comfortable saying that to your parents, siblings, lover and friends?

and what do you feel when people say that to you?

deja vu

i used to believe deja vu is some trick our brain play on us, those pieces of memories during dreams.
so when i had a very clear dream few years ago, i decided to experiment it by trying to remember the details to see if it happens in the future.
the location was a classroom with green chairs and a man seated in the middle saying "...then you copy lah..."
then just last week, it happened in my college during my class and it struck me when my lecturer said the exact same words in the same tone..

so /k/, what's your deja vu experience?
