Christmas Charity Party

Dear all,

I would like to invite all of you on behalf of a few homes for orphans and disabled in PJ to an earlier Christmas party at one of the home in ss3.

The purpose of this party is to let the poor children to have a fun and happy party on this festive season, as well I would like to create some awareness to the public about their needs. This party will be a big party due to combination of a few homes around Selangor area. Everything is in progress and going smooth, I would like to invite all of you, where there's no any commitment involved to join us for this big party to have a fun time with the children.

The party will start from the evening, around 7.30pm with a buffet style dinner provided, as well we will have some shows from children, lucky draw and games. All of you are welcome to join in for the activities and games.

Let us all, have a great celebration before the ending of 2009, while we hope to show our appreciation to all of you, who have been supporting, helping, and caring in this 2009. Thank you very much!!!

Visit to Rumah Solehah

Dear friends,

I'm sorry for the delay of September's event due to some incidents occur at my side here. I wish to introduce a new home by doing an event after the Hari Raya.

The Islamic Medical Association Malaysia, comprising of Muslim doctors, nurses, paramedics and medical students, established a halfway house called 'Rumah Solehah' for HIV positive women and children in June 1998. It aims to provide assistance and temporary shelter for HIV positive women who have been abandoned by their families.

With the inevitable surplus of HIV/AIDS infected or affected children and orphans, Rumah Solehah ("RS") opened their home to the first HIV child in 2001. Since then over 50 children have been cared for in RS. RS gets referrals from all over the country, from doctors, the welfare homes, Pengasih and the Malaysian Aids Council. Currently there are 22 children in RS.

A second home was opened in 2004 to cater for the increasing number of children. They have taken on board a most challenging task to address not only the daily sustenance of these children but also their educational needs and to ensure their optimal physical, emotional, spiritual and cognitive development. A TALL ORDER BY ANY STANDARDS!!!

Whilst many have failed, Rumah Solehah is now into her 8th year of operations. RS continues to attract visitors nationwide as well as worldwide, as a model of a dedicated HIV/AIDS institution:

a. that has expanded from a shelter home for women to now addressing the needs of children with HIV/AIDS;
b. that has seen her residents "graduated" to be with their families and the wider society and some of the children have been accepted by their families/extended family members or fostered/adopted;
c. that has laid out concrete plans for their institution's viability, financially and human resource wise;
d. that has remained within the fraternity of the Malaysian AIDS Council and her election into the executive committee in 2004 further reinforces this resolve of sharing, caring and learning.

First of all, I would like to introduce you this cute little baby girl from Siddharthan Care Centre, Jithes (Sorry that I can't confirm the correct spelling of her name yet ) whom is going to be 1 year old on the coming 15 August 2009!! Hooray!!!

Well, I would like to have a belated birthday party for her and as well the other children since they've been very good for this few months. The children are showing good result in their study too. So... the details for the party will be as shown below:

Hey hey people!! Great job for the round 1 and I believe everyone had some fun! Hooray!!!
Anyhow, the event didn't just end so, we are going to have the round 2 for the old folks with government involvement.
Ting ting!!! We've finally manage to get a YB(VIP now, won't reveal the name yet ) agree to sponsor RM1500-RM2000 value of grocery to the old folks, also we manage to get JKM to register all the old folks there by giving them the extension days!! Hooray!!! So happy right? Yes, it's so happy to see that everyone is trying to help out around!!!

Alright, now you need to help me out too! Go draw a big circle in your calender, please be free on 11/7/2009 and 12/7/2009. Reserve these two precious days for me as we will be going to Semenyih again to see the lovely old folks. Gong gong!! Po po! We are coming!!!

PPKKTAJ Home Visit

Hello people!

It's me again! This time around we are going to Ampang to pay a visit to this special home, Persatuan Penjagaan Kanak-kanak Terencat Akal Johor Bahru (Selangor Centre). The centre accommodates almost 155 children with age-range that varies from 3 years to 51 years old. Most of the residents are mentally disabled, meaning, they are unable to take care of themselves. Apart from mental deficiency, there are also cases such as Down Syndrome, Spastic, Cerebral Palsy, Hyperactive and Autism. They also have abuse cases and normal cases where the mothers are psychiatric patients and therefore unable to care for the children.

We will be having a lovely lunch session with the special children on 31st May 2009, Sunday @ 12pm. Then of course we are going to spend some precious time with them, of course I will post up a few articles regarding about down syndrome, spastic, cerebral palsy and so on for all of you to understand them better.

Well, if you are free on that day, why not come to have some fun with us? I'm very sure this will be a very interesting trip, it definitely a memorable one in your life. Come let's put some smiles on their faces again!

Dear members,

This time around, let us head to Taman Kinrara, Puchong for the under-privileged in House of Joy! HOUSE OF JOY is a social concern and a non-profit charitable home that administers shelter, care and training to orphans, children and teens who are underprivileged, abused, abandoned & neglected, poor, and delinquent. Besides children’ home, we also give shelter and care to some underprivileged and destitute old folk. House of Joy has been established since 1st August 1992 by Rev Tang Chee Sing and his wife Lee Ching Mun.The aim of House of Joy is to reach out to these needy people, to develop a real sense of worth and a change for the betterment amongst children, teenagers and the elderly. We hope that by loving, caring, counseling, educating, training and transforming through restoration will help this needy especially children and teenagers into useful adults, ready to face life’s challenges.

As planned and suggested, we wish to give a lunch to the children and old folks in the Home on 28th March 2009, Saturday at 9am. Of course we will never miss out to come up with some nice activities for the children.

Come on people, let us gather again to spread the love around! Hurry join me for this great event!
Donations will be depending on you, any form of donation will do and that's not the main issue because I definitely wish to have more manpower!
Do not worry about contribution, what most important is the manpower that I need. I wish to get more people to join in for the fun, so just come and have some fun together!

Big thank you from PJ Caring Home

Dear all LYN CF members,

I would like to introduce PJ Caring Home in Old Town, Petaling Jaya to you. This is a mental illness home. There are total of 130 people age range from 19 years old till 80++ years old staying in this 5 houses around in Old Town due to suffer from different type of mental illness. They have no support from government too, everything are open to public for donation. As for the homes, they are helping those people to recover, take care of them and send them to hospital.

This time around, I hope to have some donation in form of dried food such as: rice, bihum, noodles, and so on for them and also pillows and mattress. For your information, they need to change their mattress every 6 months due to urine on mattress and health issue for the elderly. Of course we will be providing them a lunch on 21st February 2009, Saturday, 9am.

1pm - first activity : Singing competition
2pm - Second activity : Dancing competition

Hi there,

Happy New Year 2009 to everyone in LYN CF. During the previous years we been kinda quiet in this board, hopefully things change this year.
For first move we are going to take, I hope to gather everyone who are interested to join in this LYNCF group.

First, I don't need you to donate all your money or time to me. As long as you have the heart to do something back to the society, you are always welcome to join in. What you need to do is, sign in here, let me know your location, and the time slot that you are free. Please reply as in below if you are interested.

Siddharthan Care Centre need you

Hello people, I'm organizing a trip to this home, Siddharthan Care Centre at PJ ss3, it is near the LDP, will upload map as soon as possible. I have a plan of going there to give them a hand, first will be donate them whatever items that I can collect in this 2 weeks time. The visit to there will be on 8th December 2008, morning 10am. I need volunteers too if you are able to join me for this trip to there, we will mostly help them in cleaning up the house, play with the children and also do the donation part. Below are the items that in need for them. For those who are interested to sign up as volunteer to help in this project, please feel free to contact me.

1) Food and beverage (Dried food - beehon, rice, milo,canned food and etc)
2) Stationary (Books, exercise books, pencil, pen, rulers and so on)
3) Clothes
4) Medicine (such as panadol, dettol those)
5) Toiletries (Shampoo, tooth paste/tooth brush, dish wash, rubbish bag and so on)

I am sorry but seriously I need a place to express my feeling.

I don't know what day is it today, it sounds so miserable for me, perhaps I shall say that a lot of problems been bothering me so much. I seriously feel like resign from that damn bloody work place, close down that stupid business and stop every single thing that I am doing, just want a break. I felt so depressed, I am stressed up. Yet there are still people who keep on pressuring me. I can't breathe.

Feel like crying out loud, feel like screaming out loud. I don't know what to say anymore, there are a lot of people in my friend list but I don't know who to talk to. There are a lot of people who think I am tough, but actually I ain't that tough. I am so weak and useless. I have been searching for a pair of ear to listen to my problems, even though there are, but I don't know how to open my mouth to express it out. I have been very playful around this forum, take it as like a drug to make myself to forget about the pain but it doesn't really help. In fact it force me to wear up another mask on my face. Finally I decided, for you, I shall stop all the flirt, all the crap. I think at this moment, I just wish to tell you, I had great moment with you.
