Why did the Germans vote for Adolf Hitler’s Nazi party in 1933? Well, it was because Hitler promised the Germans he would solve Germany’s economic problems.

The Great Depression started in 1929 and ended ten years later in 1939. In 1933, the Germans had enough of the Weimar government and decided to give a chance to Hitler to deliver the promises he had been making since February 1920. One major promise was to end the economic hardship of the German people.

And Hitler did this by colonising Germany’s neighbours, and eventually the whole of Europe, so that they could plunder the wealth of those countries for the benefit of Germany.

The French Revolution in 1789 was triggered because of economic hardship. The people were hungry while the elite ate well. Even the church, which owned 20% of the land all over Europe, grew rich at the expense of the peasants.

The French Revolution was born on an empty stomach.

The English Civil War between 1642 and 1651 was also triggered by economic hardship. England was practically bankrupt and to raise money King Charles I increased the taxes. This was a most unpopular move resulting in King Charles I being the first king in English history to get beheaded, after which England became a republic for a short while.

After executing Charles I and turning England into a republic, life did not become better, so they brought back Charles II
The Russian Revolution of 1917 was also because of money. Russia was bankrupt and could not afford to pay the salaries of the army. After six months of no pay, the soldiers began to revolt, mainly because they and their families were hungry. As soon as the first revolt started, the politicians quickly hijacked it and turned it into a party revolution. Thereafter the revolution spread to the general workers on the exploitation of the politicians.

Yes, as Pakatan Harapan supporters are fond of telling me: who cares about the past? The past is not important. Why keep talking about history?

Contrary to what these Pakatan Harapan people may think, the past or history is important. It teaches us about the mistakes of the past so that we do not repeat those mistakes. They say we must learn from our mistakes. Why not we learn for other peoples’ mistakes instead? That may prove less painful.

The lesson here is Malaysia’s GE14 was won and lost because of money. The people believe that the economic hardship they are facing is because of Najib Tun Razak’s bad management of the economy. They believe the 6% GST is making the cost of living too high and if Pakatan Harapan were to take over they would abolish the GST and everything will become cheaper and the people will end up with more money in their pockets.

They also believe that Najib stole billions of the rakyat’s money, 1MDB being one example of many, and that once the government is changed all this robbery will end and the people will become richer.

Furthermore, the new government will recover all that stolen money and will end corruption at all levels. And with this savings of RM50-100 billion a year, the government can manage the country without burdening the people with taxes, the GST being just one of those many taxes that would end.

Pakatan Harapan is not able to deliver its promises so it is distracting Malaysians from that truth by persecuting Najib Razak and Zahid Hamidi
Yes, GE14, just like all those other changes over the last hundreds of years all over the world, World War 1 and World War 2 included, is about money. Pakatan Harapan promised the voters a good life and the voters bought that promise by voting Pakatan Harapan.

So now Pakatan Harapan needs to deliver that promise. Pakatan Harapan asked for 100 days and the voters agreed. Then Pakatan Harapan said 100 days is not enough after all and asked for more time and the voters also agreed. But will the voters also agree when Pakatan Harapan tells them that five years is not enough and they need a second term of five years so that Pakatan Harapan can give them that good life they promised before GE14?

The English discovered that after turning England into a republic their lives did not become any better. So, nine years later they restored the monarchy and gave the throne to Charles II. The French discovered that the Revolution of 1789 did not make their lives any better. So, 50 years later they had the Second French Revolution. The Russians, of course, discovered too late that replacing the Tsar with the Bolsheviks just made the whole thing worse and it took them 70 years before the next change would happen.

Malays Should Stop Getting Angry

From the comments being posted in Malaysia Today, I can see the Malays getting angry when the Chinese mock them and hurl insults and much more.

Have you not heard what Lee Iacocca said? He said, “Don’t get mad, get even.”

One way of getting even is to not pay income tax and let just the Chinese pay income tax. Now that the GST has been abolished you already save 6% in tax. You then calculate how much personal income tax you are supposed to pay and pay that same amount in zakat to the pejabat agama instead.

Say your income tax comes to RM10,000 a year. You pay zakat amounting to RM10,000 and when your tax statement arrives you return it together with your zakat payment receipt. So you need not pay any income tax.

The zakat you pay goes to the Islamic cause while the tax the Chinese pay goes to paying the salaries of the 1.6 million civil servants, who are mostly Malays, to service the government loans, for development expenditure, and so on.

In the end, the entire expenditure for the country is paid for by the Chinese while Malay money goes only to Islam. To the Chinese, money is the most important thing in their life. So it will hurt the Chinese to know they are paying 100% of the country’s cost while the Malays do not pay one sen and all the Malay money goes to Islam.

Now that there is no longer any GST it is easier for this to be done. Spread the word and ask all the Malays to just pay zakat and offset it against your tax bill. The Chinese can then finance 100% of the country’s cost. So when they mock you and insult you, like they are doing now, you can smile knowing that their pocket is hurting them more than their words can hurt you.

Will Tommy Thomas Be Able To Nail Najib?

You can read (below) what Tun Abdul Hamid Mohamad, the Sixth Chief Justice of Malaysia, wrote. In short, it is Attorney-General Tommy Thomas’s job to PERSONALLY make sure that ex-Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak goes to jail.

Pakatan Harapan said back in 2015 that the evidence against Najib is overwhelming. They said they have an air-tight case against Najib. They said Najib in 100% guilty. They said there is no way Najib can escape going to jail. They said Najib is going to be arrested on 10th May 2018 and will go straight to jail.

Today is already 26th June 2018 and Pakatan is 47 days past the deadline. Why is Najib still not in jail yet?

That is because they did not really have the hard evidence that Najib stole RM42 billion of 1MDB’s money like they claimed. They do not even have any evidence that Najib stole RM2.6 billion. And Najib put that RM2.6 billion-donation into his personal bank account because that was what the Bank Negara Governor advised him to do to avoid ‘complications’ with the RoS if the money went into Umno’s bank account.

So now they have to lower their sights and instead try to nail Najib on just RM42 million, the money that they allege came from SRC International. But then they have discovered that Najib was not involved in transferring the RM42 million into his bank account or transferring it out again to other bank accounts. Najib was not managing that bank account and had no control of money coming in to and out of that bank account.

I mean, you might own the car that the bank robbers used to rob the bank but you were not driving the car and neither did you authorise the bank robbers to use your car to rob the bank and you also did not mastermind the bank robbery or instruct the robbers to rob the bank. So, you cannot be charged for bank robbery.

So now they are going after Rosmah Mansor and the media is beginning to spin the story that Rosmah was the real brains behind ‘The Great 1MDB Robbery’. They are also starting to arrest a string of ‘aides’ to Najib and Rosmah to frighten them into confessing that they acted under Najib’s and Rosmah’s instructions to steal 1MDB’s money. They need to ‘break’ only one person and get him or her to turn ‘state’s witness’ to nail Najib and/or Rosmah.

The new Attorney-General, Tommy Thomas, is frantic. As Tun Hamid said (below), it is the A-G’s job to send Najib to jail. And he is finding it very difficult to deliver the promise that Pakatan Harapan made to Malaysians: which is Najib is going to be arrested and sent to jail on 10th May 2018, which was 47 days ago.

The reason they are going for Rosmah is because they know Najib loves her too much to allow her to get arrested and sent to jail. So Najib might agree to ‘confess’ to all charges just to spare Rosmah, which is what any husband who loves his wife would do, especially if she is innocent of any crime.

So, if they can get even just one aide to implicate Rosmah to a crime then they can go for her. Then Najib will come forward and volunteer to take the fall to spare Rosmah, even if he has to confess to fake charges. And, as they just announced today, Najib is going to be ‘rained’ with charges so he will be sent to jail for the rest of his life.

Section 376 of the Criminal Procedure Code (CPC), inter alia, provides:

“376. (1) The Attorney General shall be the Public Prosecutor and shall have the control and direction of all criminal prosecutions and proceedings under this Code.”

So, when Tommy Thomas accepted the post of AG, like it or not, by law, he is also the PP. He cannot say “I only want to be AG but not PP.” He cannot say “I only want to advise the Government but I do not want to do prosecution”. He cannot pick and choose his briefs as if he is still in private practice. After all he receives the full pay as AG.

Power to institute, conduct or discontinue any proceedings for an offence is exercisable at his discretion. To make the decision, he has to study the investigation files to satisfy himself that the decision is correctly, fairly and properly made.

There are also provisions that require him to act personally, e.g. section 68 © and 376(3) of the CPC.

If he did not agree that by becoming an AG he will also be the PP, why did he accept the post?

For the benefit of politicians and the public who think that lawyers in private practice are great experts or even “kings” in all fields of law and that legal officers in the government service are “second class” lawyers, if not stupid, let me say that all lawyers in private practice had never seen a criminal investigation file, what more studying them in detail in order to make a decision to prosecute or otherwise and they have no experience in prosecution at all. Tommy Thomas is no exception.

Defending a criminal case is much easier as you can win a case merely on a mistake made by the prosecution which, even if you do not see it, the judge will see it, anyway. Even then, I wonder whether Tommy Thomas had ever acted as a defence counsel in a criminal trial.

Prosecution is the most difficult, laborious, time consuming and tiring of all legal works. Tommy Thomas has never experienced it. Is that the reason why he is shying away from it?

AGs from the Judicial and Legal Service like Tan Sri Ghani Patail, Tan Sri Mokhtar Abdullah and Tan Sri Abu Talib spent a lot of their time doing prosecution, all of them during the period when Tun Dr. Mahathir was Prime Minister while Tan Sri Ghani Patail continued to be AG until he was relieved of his job by Dato’ Seri Najib. Whenever there was a high profile case, they would lead the prosecution team. We expect Tommy Thomas to do the same.

Since he is not going to do prosecution, I believe he will leave it to his DPPs. Or, is he going to appoint members of the Bar, on a larger scale than what the BN Government did when it appointed Shafee Abdullah to represent the PP in Dato’ Sri Anwar Ibrahim’s second sodomy case, which the PH so strongly condemned? The Minister of Finance should be aware of this.

DAP Needs To Abolish The Monarchy First

Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah a.k.a. Ku Li had already warned the Malays about this 30 years ago back in 1988. Ku Li said Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad has been trying to abolish the monarchy and will not stop trying as long as he is in power.

Mahathir said he needs to become Prime Minister again because he has ‘unfinished business’ and he plans to stay as Prime Minister for only two years. However, he many stay longer than two years if he cannot complete his work within two years or the people want him to stay longer.

And that unfinished business is to abolish the monarchy and turn Malaysia into a republic.

In 1988, Ku Li said Malays cannot allow Mahathir to abolish the monarchy and turn Malaysia into a republic because the Raja-Raja Melayu are the protectors and defenders of Malay privileges, Islam, and Bahasa Melayu as the National Language. Once the monarchy is abolished, then Malay privileges, Islam, and Bahasa Melayu as the National Language would be under threat.

Lim Guan Eng came out with an official ministerial statement in Chinese and said he will continue to do so and he urged all other ministries, agencies and government departments to do the same. He also asked the government officers to get used to using Chinese or Mandarin.

Some say Guan Eng is stupid. Some say he is arrogant. Some say he must have a death wish. The truth is Guan Eng is merely testing the waters.

Mahathir wants to see how far he can push the envelope so he asked Guan Eng to do this stunt. Mahathir wants to see how the Malays are going to react. He also wants to see which of the three Umno President hopefuls will come out to oppose this.

Mahathir wants to abolish Malay privileges, racial quotas, the NEP, and so on. He also needs to propagate the idea that Malaysia is a secular state and not an Islamic state. Plus, he needs to make English the first language and Bahasa Melayu the second language, which is actually not a bad idea. But for that to happen he first needs to abolish the monarchy and turn Malaysia into a republic.

So, the shot from Guan Eng is the first shot across the bow. Mahathir wants to see what happens. Then they will work on JAKIM and the Shariah courts and ‘reform’ the education system and abolish the NEP in favour of meritocracy and much more.

There may be some resistance from Umno and/or the Raja-Raja Melayu and that will be when Mahathir will say both Umno and the monarchy need to go. So, no, Guan Eng is not stupid, arrogant or has a death wish. This is all planned. And the plan was to see what happens when Guan Eng announces that Mandarin will now be at par with Bahasa Malaysia. Next, all other religions will be at par with Islam and non-Malays will be equal to Malays and no more special position for Malays. Then Mahathir’s ‘unfinished business’ will be finished.
