Matchmaking Agency effectiveness vs DIY

2013, i posted here whether there's any girl that matches me physically and mentally before i go ahead and marry gf at that time. 1 forumner advised me to go for matchmaking agency instead. I took his advice and went for it, a paid professional agency that works like recruitment center where i have to provide IC, certs, resumes and requirements of the girl i wanted. Paid few hundred bucks downpayment and they told me to wait.

At the same time, i applied long holidays and get friends to act along as i have lost my job and went bankrupt to test existing gf. Without think twice and hesitation, she left and said there's no free meal in this world. I didn't feel sad or bad but instead glad that i can see her true colour before marriage.

Back to that agency, it took them 3 months to get the girl i have been dreaming of since childhood. My requirement, didn't think they are capable of getting since girl like that is rare and only exist in movie. She accepted me with the tiny income and no house condition as stated in my resume. It'll be close to 2 years soon that we got together.

I am grateful and really thank that guy who recommended that i go to professional matchmaking agency. as for those who said can't get gf or bf here on Cupid's thread, they should follow that guy's advice too. My experience in looking for gf DIY for 20 years, it is hard to get someone that matches physically and mentally like a female version of me than looking for someone pretty.

AMD fx8350 and higher end processors

On specs they seem fast with octacore. Many said better take intel nowadays? Are they still as bad as 15 years ago back then? I bought amd celeron only once so far and had bad experience with it where i need to overclock it to get speed on specs manually on the processor's few on off switches. The default speed is much slower and had shorter lifespan than intel i had that time. It's noisy and generated more heat, probably died due to no aircond and under constant hot sun.

Anyone own high end AM3+ platform AMD FX8350 or higher processor can share info? or the A10 fm2+ processor with built in gpu better? Also, how good is sapphire r9 280x with ddr5 3gb compared to nvidia at similar price rm800~900 region? Is sapphire reliable compared to asus and msi?

Dogs should be banned as pets

Reasons why dogs should be banned:
1) Territorial dogs are aggressive and threaten pedestrians and neighbours if they claimed the public road outside owner's house compound. Check countries with high dogs population, animal attack cases been highest resulting in deaths and severed injury.
2) Dogs bark can be heard several houses away, disturbing the neighbourhood especially night time
3) Dogs are vengeful and would bark and attack when they dislike someone's daily activities such as jogging & exercise
4) Natural born killer and would injure/attack victims for sports, dangerous to children.
5) Housing area with too many dogs discourage people from walking, exercise outside. Kids & adults won't be actively riding bicycles, skateboard, badminton, etc with neigbours or family. Also, most would not want to walk all the way to bus stop or train station being followed and barked at daily going to and back from work.
6) Dogs create ruckus with tearing garbage bags leaving lots of debris on the road. Municipal doesn't clean up these. Arrogant dogs would poop at people's home entrance claiming territory, some would threaten and bark at neighbours entering/leaving home as they don't live there.
7) Dog's favourite food is dung/poop, that's why it is known as filthy and spread disease. Cancer, lung hemorrhage and brain hemorrhage are common disease caused by dogs usually infecting owners. Countries with high dogs population have highest cancer rate such as America and Europe.
8) Dog's poo is breeding ground for flies increasing flies population. Also, dogs are carrier of multiple types of fleas, mites and microorganisms bad for human health.

Limit dogs rearing to farms, factories, estates, police k9, rescue units. For house compound, it must be large enough like villa where the pedestrian from outside would not be able to see it at all nor hear its bark clearly. Double storey and semi-detach houses not allowed.

Increase dog ownership license to 〉rm5000~10,000 per annum with strict requirements. No money means unable to own large lands. To ensure petshop business unaffected, legalise dogmeat and reduce reliance on chicken, beef, etc. Chickens demand been too high until they used too much chemicals to make the chickens grow big faster than usual. Non~muslims when had more choices of animals will reduce overdemand and the need to use such steroid chemicals that cause side effects to human.

Chinese should stop using fake English name

Chinese should stop using fake English name. Stick to own actual name as per IC and be proud.

Example: Alan Tang Wai Luen whereas on ic no such Alan. What's the problem using own name Wai Luen? Why introduce himself as Alan? Involved in illegal cheating business using fake name so that victims won't know his name and the police will be harder to trace him according to IC?

For those who converted to Christian, why put English name? Other countries even Arabs Christian stick to Arabic name.

Price of goods went up

petrol up 25sen, ciplak roadside quality restaurant hiked price 50sen on every food. petrol price down they didn't reduce price. in January, petrol price also similar as today, why increase food price?

GST, i don't think they pay such tax in the first place as they are sole proprietor, only pay personal tax. We should boycott these cheating traders.

Many Chinese Killing Own Language?

Many Chinese parents speak to their kids in English when born. Reason they gave, mother tongue such aa Cantonese, Hokkien, Hakka, etc are useless like how they said Malay language useless. Worst is, these parents don't even speak proper English.

OCBC = Orang Cina Bukan Cina

OCBC (not the bank) people think themseleves as higher class, shun those who speak mother tongue and pretend as European wannabe copying their slang, attitude (bad ones, not the good) & foul language (without really knowing what they mean) in monkey see monkey do style.

Had these young and old OCBC evaluated:
~ their English are quite good broken until Mat Salleh don't understand. I seldom speak English in turn could speak more fluent that could liaise better with Mat Salleh.
~ their knowledge only average, they studied hard to score A but don't know how to apply in reality. They actually don't know more words than i do.
~ Mat Salleh perception towards OCBC, Mat Salleh told me that they hope these OCBC don't migrate to their countries. Mat Salleh hates people who ditch on culture degrading them as unfaithful traitors who care only about benefits.

Looking at those rich successful businessman, they happen to know multiple languages to deal with wide scope of customers. Japanese & Koreans are successful and well respected by Westerners. They didn't ditch their culture and language but instead rely on taking up knowledge and capabilities to be successful and gained respect from others.

No language is useless. Language is never measured in value, instead language is protocol, gateway to communicate with other ethnics and races. That's why I speak fluent Malay language and English despite sticking to Cantonese and Mandarin.

oppo vs lenovo

i bought lenovo vibe x and my friend got the vibe z before oppo just before oppo launched n1 mini and find7. Big regret since then over poor camera zoom and dimmer camera quality. Comparing to oppo, oppo seems more user friendly better battery and good quality camera.

Lenovo retaliated by phasing out the vibe x & z replacing with new x2 and z2. Done some testing on x2 and z2, their performance and camera quality seems to be around oppo level.

so which is better now? IS it advisable to get the phased out vibe x and z we got to root? I like the new r5 indestructible phone but the camera seems lousy like my vibe x when zoom.

Dear Moderator, please do not lock my topic if I accidentally if my request sounds discriminative. The thing is the person that I am looking for is very rare and almost impossible to find. I posted the same topic on Cupid and also Sports/Fitness thread as well as they might be there. Thank you.

Before I proceed to go further with Ms A that I doubt she is even my type and we could really stay forever due to much different views and attitude, I would like to check whether there is someone really like me out there. Fact is, love is never blind. It is us who would usually keep an eye shut when there is something not right and take the risk which is wrong.

Don't really believe 100%, compatible year zodiac: ox, dragon, snake, rooster

I am over early 30's, train in kungfu and gymnastic, would practice basic stretching and simulated fighting daily. Single eyelid with beak nose (in Cantonese ngau bei) with thick lips. 170cm 75kg weight category fighter. I don't have any bad temper with lots of patience and not moody type. Only violent towards bad guys. I'm free thinker, replaced religion with science and facts. Open minded type.

Civic minded type, would attempt to help and save any innocents (good people) that are threatened or harmed by snatch thieves, robbers, thugs and any bad guys.

Interest / Hobby: Military, Sci-Fi, computer games, martial arts, gymnastic, break dance, fighting. Would train kungfu/gymnastic forever, for health and safety, also 1 of the element to longevity.
