Reverse bank online transfer

Hi,

My friend's brother just mistakenly did online transfer to house owner's account for rental payment, but in fact, he is no longer renting there this month. Is there any way to reverse the transfer to get the money back?

Anyone experience this before?

It was his fault, the owner is outstation and not able to contact him. Any opinion would be much appreciated.

Hi all,

I'm planning to transfer my GSD from east to west malaysia, and I've done all necessary procedures ready for transfer...except for the cage.

It's really headache to search for a big cage for my 3 y.o GSD...I've read thru the guideline, it says about the space, size of the cage, requirement etc but didnt mentioned about type of cage.

Anyone has idea/experience before, what is the best cage used for transfer?

* Im planning to use metal cage, but as you know, the cargo is based on weight..it gonna cost me big hole in pocket if i use heavy metal, even before my pet on board..

Pay to close account?

Well, I never know about it, until I went to ask for closure of this current account which is no longer in use.

Is it true that we've to pay to close current account?

This account had been created since 3 years ago. No debt on it. And it has been left rm 0 for 1 month, after I've transferred out the balance into saving account.

I was told by CS that this charge is imposed once any current account is closed.

Anyone has similar experience before?

What to do with Empty Land Bushes Next-house

Hi all, Just hope that I'm at the right place to discuss this topic.

Well, there is a big land besides my house, full covered with bushes and some dirty rubbish ppl throw there. The grass can be as tall as usual adult's height. It has been vacant for ages, and this is private un-secured land. Occasionally there are scorpions and weird insects crawling in to my house compound. And just last week, a baby cobra was noted nearby my backyard, as the dog kept barking! This could be very dangerous as it endangers our living.

I've done survey and informed the land owner about the situation. But sadly, the owner never bother to care about it. It's a private land, about 1 acre.

Anyone has any opinion how to deal with it? is there any law or regulation saying that land owner must re-act to such situation?
Appreciate if anyone could give his/her valuable experience/advice to this matter, thanks!

* My only experience is about my friend, who is staying in different place. His bungalow was facing the similar problem before, that the empty land next to his house was so messy. He gave warning to the land owner, and it happened so soon that the land owner (a company) came to clean up in a week time. well, the difference is he has 'datuk-ship', me normal citizen-ship...

Payment refund from credit card

Hi All,

I've made a purchase of a cosmetic product using credit card yesterday, and I'm dissatisfied with the product (I think I've got allergic rash due to itchiness after using that product). The product was in package, and i only opened one of them, the rest remaining intact, with plastic seal..

Can I call credit card customer service to cancel off my payment? (Let's say if the shop refused to refund the money after i return)

Is there such a customer right in malaysia?

Thanks.

Cost to change a door lock?

Hi all,

The wooden door knob of bedroom has experiencing some problems (unable to lock properly), so called this locksmith to come over (very near to his shop, walking distance ~5min) to my unit and repair. He then knocked off the knob, and told me that the knob was faulty, but he cant fix it coz the original hole (to hold the knob) wasnt properly done last time. He needs to re-drill the hole to make it aligned. Since I was in rush, I said it's ok, just fix it back to close the hole to make it look better. He replaced a new one (simple, round type knob) and charged rm 90...whole process took less than 20 min..

im not familiar with the pricing here in KL, particularly at ss2 area, but to me, it's too expensive for such charges..coz back to my hometown (which i just changed one last month), locksmith charged me only 40 including new knob and labour charge. It was exactly same type of knob...

Just want some input if this charge is reasonable here in this area?

Is it Unethical act?

First of all, Im sorry for double-posting and also, if this topic doesnt belong to here. Kindly advise.. thanks!

The situation is as below...Just need ur kind opinions and views on the matter below..

Let's say in a company, 2 staffs namely A and B, are working at the same department. They are good friends, A was married with 2 children while B is still single.

On one occasion, the company's workloads have increased so much that the boss required staff to do OT, aka overtime, to make sure that the achievement of the company wont get affected.

The duty roster was well planned so that every staff get equal numbers of doing OT, as mandated by management.

However, due to family commitment, A was not able to stay late for OT, and he asked help from B, who is willingly to offer his time to cover A's work. And staff A agreed to claim the OT money and give it to B at the end of the month...

All the works get done in time, and company achieved good performance for that particular year.

The question here... Is this act considered unethical? (Helping to claim in own name, for other who did the work)
If u are the boss, what would you think? Do you allow this?

Your views and opinions are much appreciated, thanks~
