Be Aware: Dangerous Gangster Car Rental Company

Pls be aware of this so called “company” that provides rude/fraud/gangster/violent car rental ‘service’.

Situation: My friend had rented a car from this company and at the end got some scratches only on bumper. The staff that delivered the car said, based on his experience, it may cost at most RM200 and asked my friend deposit RM300 to him first. Later he asked for a bank A/C in order to refund the balance. After few days, my friend sent the bank A/C to this “company” and received following reply (surprisingly from a GM ). It didn’t give any notice or call to my friend before received the email.

1st Email Received:

Ms XXX

Do u know that our auto viva was only 2months old n you destroyed our bumper. Do u know it take more than rm400 tO respray the bumper?
Ist our driver said that you tried to avoid admiting that you knocked n bump into our new bumper. And you still have the cheek to demand your f***ing deposit back. We have made a police report let them decide that you destroyed our bumper or not. By the way if you come into sarawak again you will be automatically arrested due to not admitIng to a crime of damaging our car.

You must be crasy to think that after destroy our bumper u still want your f***ing money back

Once received this rude/intimidate email , I had sent an explanation reply and called to the “company” , however, got the following answers:

1. The person written on behalf of this “company” doesn’t exist but the company had sent out an email.
(Ghost? )

2. The company said it costs RM400+
(My Kuching’s mechanic friend said it costs RM200 at most, in line with their staff estimates)

3. Talking halfway, the company hanged up my phone.
(Tried to call back to this hp number, but nobody pick up my phone anymore. Called at least twice per day in next following days, however, only empty air was answered)

One week after the 1st email, received 2nd email with ridiculous content. This time, I called to the person and got a very CREATIVE reply.

2nd Email Received:

We have received information that our former staff who handled your case and later left the company out of frustration that there the damages collected was more than the deposit leftover for the destroyed bumper.What the driver estimated was below cost. Your rm300 deposit was not enough to handle this damages.

We will do up the car n the “estimated cost” is rm400. Please arrange to bankin the difference of rm100 to our office account

Upon receiving the payment we will issue you official receipt of pay,ent received and withdraw the police report which will get u arrested in any airports if u do enter sarawak again due to a car rental report done on your case. All the evidences presented to the police justify a police criminal case

Q1: What is estimated cost? Without any attached receipt, meant you haven sent to workshop but asked for the fee!!!
A1: Instructed by her boss to write and send the email, and didn’t know anything of it. (is it possible?)

Q2: Can you send the car to my familiar workshop in Kuching?
A2: Said OK at that moment but on the next day, called back and said the car is in workshop already. (……….)

Q3: Said lodged a police report again but my friend so far hasn’t received a call from police yet nor you never attach the so called ‘report’ to us.
A3: Same as A1, didn’t know anything.

Q4: Who is your boss?
A4: The person in the 1st email. (Dead End)

Frustrated to call these hp no. and tried to call the office no., unexpectedly, the no. stated in the email is fake and was another company one. By researching more thru internet on the address stated, I found even the address is not accurate. (ps: wonder that in reality, the location got this company or not)

I'm currently pursuing degree for international economics and want to apply for an internship. But I found that most of the companies are just demanding the finance, accounting, or marketing students, it seems like economic student are not so "hot" in the private sector and can do various job but not a professional job. Is it true?

Besides,
1. what is the future for the economic student in the private sector?
2. Is the economic students are competitive with the finance student in the investment/banking industry?

I'm currently got the offer from this company as internship, juz curious bout working environment/culture/of it or wat the department actually do? Coz cant find any info from the net

Apart from tat, any advice when working in this department/Genting??
