ATTN: Those who purchase items online

Hey guys, this is a heads up for all you people who often purchase products online.

The Consumer Protection Regulations (Online Commerce Transactions) 2012 which was gazetted on December 21 last year will be implemented from July 1.

Under the provisions, cheating merchants will face heavier jail terms and fines. Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob revealed that more than 1.1million Malaysians had spent some RM1.8billion in various online transactions in 2010 and the value was expected to nearly triple to RM5billion next year.

The new provisions make it mandatory for merchants to CLEARLY state the name of the person, business or company providing the product or service online, including the business or company registration number, email, phone number, business address, key features of the product or service offered, the full price including delivery other costs incurred, payment methods, terms and conditions and the estimated delivery time.

Under the Consumer Protection Act 1999, individuals found guilty of floating the regulations face a fine of not more than RM50,000, a maximum 3 years jail or both for the first offence. Under the new provisions, the maximum penalty was effectively increased to a RM100,000 fine or 5 years jail or both for subsequent offences. Companies or enterprises meanwhile face a maximum fine of RM100,000 for the first offence, and the quantum doubles to RM200,000 for subsequent offences.

Muay Thai Gym

Hey guys,

I'm planning to enroll myself in a muay thai centre. We all need to. Anwar wants an Arab Spring in Malaysia.

I'm currently looking at Kirsty Muay Thai in Ampang. Any reviews on that?

Or do you guys have any good recommendations? Especially those near or around KL Sentral. Those in Damansara is totally out of the question. Kinda fair from where I live.

Advice Needed: Supplements

Hey guys,

I'm planning to begin hitting the gym soon and I'm not sure what type of supplements I should take. I'm ignorant about supplements. I'm 18 years old, about 60kg and 170cm. I'm planning on buying supplements either from GNC or those that they have at Watson. I just want a normal body minus those belly fats and uh, get some abs out from its hiding spot. I don't want a big monster body, just a normal lean body is good enough for me.

Advice please!
