Women are known for having many love/hate relationships, like with our ex-boyfriends or with carbs. But then there’s also our greatest frenemy of all: showers.

This is an indisputable fact and an issue every female has dealt with at one point in her life. Our shower schedule gets in the way of everything, from our gym routines, to our weekend activities. Deciding the optimal time to take a shower is crucial because everyone knows how horrible it is for your hair to wash it every day.

My life changed for the better back in sixth grade when I was blessed with my very first hair-straightener (shout out: Hot Tools), you can thank my fellow Jews at camp for that one. Literally, my life changed — no longer did I look like I stuck my finger in an electrical socket, I now had hair to be proud of.

Men have it sooo damn easy; they hop in, wash themselves for about 7 minutes, walk out and are good to go for the night. For the female, however, this is a 2-hour commitment. Getting ready for a night out is difficult enough when choosing an outfit, so trying to tame that Jew-fro (No? Just me?) is even more of a challenge.

The struggle is real and I am here to break it down for you. Men, if you’re reading this, hopefully you can learn to understand and stop rushing your girlfriend when she’s trying to get ready for dinner.

RAUB: She is only 5 years old, but it did not matter to three secondary-school students who allegedly took turns to rape her when she was left alone at home last Sunday.
It was learnt that the suspects aged between 13 and 15, who are friends of the victim's brother in Kampung Seri Melayu, Sempalit, had earlier joked and played with the victim in her room before allegedly placing their fingers into her private parts, and later raping her.

State Criminal Investigation Department deputy chief Superintendent Mohd Haris Daud said the suspects had arrived at the girl's house between 1pm and 5pm on Sunday to meet her brother.

"After learning the brother was not home, they entered the house and coaxed the victim to follow them into one of the rooms before one of them unzipped her pants.

"The suspects then inserted their fingers into her private parts before raping her."
Haris said when the victim's mother, a restaurant helper returned from work to bath her daughter, the victim complained of pain in her private parts.

She immediately took her daughter to Raub Hospital for a check-up before they lodged a police report.

Secretary accidentally bites off boss’ penis !

A SECRETARY accidentally bit off the penis of her employer while giving him oral sex in a car.

Sin Chew Daily and China Press reported yesterday that while the 30-year-old woman was performing oral sex on the man, the car was hit by a reversing van.

The impact of the crash, China Press reported, caused the woman to bite off her lover’s organ.

The daily reported that the incident occurred in a Singapore park where the couple met after work.

To make matters worse for the woman, her husband had sent a private investigator to spy on her after suspecting that she was being unfaithful.

The investigator said he had followed the woman and her boss to the park.

“On reaching the park, they did not alight from the car. Not long after, the car started to shake violently.

After the car was hit by the van, there was a loud scream from the woman whose mouth was covered with blood,” he said.

The woman later followed her lover to the hospital with part of the sexual organ.

The investigator, who called an ambulance to send the man to hospital, said that this was the first time he had encountered such an incident.
Ex-stewardess publishes memoir

The dailies also reported that a former stewardess has published a memoir of her sexual escapades in the sky.

The Singaporean stewardess, identified as Chew, 35, published The Mile Hi! Club: Memoirs of a Stewardess last Wednesday.

Chew confided that she had received more than 20 requests for sex from passengers in her years as a stewardess but claimed she had turned down all of them.

1.7 million pigs to be vaccinated !

KUALA LUMPUR: The Veterinary Services Department will go ahead with vaccinating all 1.7 million pigs in the country to prevent the risk of flu viruses from mutating into a different strain.

Director-general Datuk Dr Abdul Aziz Jamaluddin said they were evaluating the various vaccines available and would make a decision within a week.

The vaccination exercise is expected to cost between RM8mil and RM10mil, he said.

He said the vaccines would protect pigs from the flu, but not the influenza A (H1NI1) strain that had caused human death.

“It does not protect the pigs from the H1N1 virus that is affecting the world now, but it will reduce the risk of mutation happening (from the normal swine flu virus),” he told reporters last night at Angkasapuri.

Dr Abdul Aziz dismissed proposals to cull pigs, saying it would be costly and “was not the right step”.

He said he would recommend that the Government foot the bill for the vaccination as it was an emergency, and his department would subsequently “encourage the industry to pick up the practice as a normal farm practice”.

Earlier in Jitra, Deputy Agriculture and Agro-Based Industry Minister Datuk Mohd Johari Baharum said it had temporarily frozen the issuance of new permits to import pork to prevent the influenza A (H1N1) virus from spreading to Malaysia.

He said the ministry would monitor the current companies which imported pork from countries including the United States, China and Vietnam.

GEORGE TOWN: The skeletal remains of a seven-year-old disabled girl, who died after being allegedly beaten by her father in 2006, were exhumed from a shallow grave in Jalan Kampung Pisang, Air Itam, here.

Police carried out the exhumation following a report by a close relative accusing the father of filicide. The man was arrested on Tuesday night.

One of the man’s three sons led police to the gruesome discovery in an open field at 1pm yesterday. The three brothers were at the scene when police exhumed the girl’s remains.

State CID chief Senior Asst Comm II Wan Abdullah Tuanku Said said police were assisted by forensic pathologist Datuk Dr Bhupinder Singh.

“Our investigations found that the girl, identified as Priya, could have been beaten to death with a stick at a house in Bandar Baru Air Itam in March 2006.

“She was then taken to the site and buried. We have classified the case as murder.

“The father, an odd-job labourer in his 40s, has been remanded by a magistrates court,” he said, adding that police were looking to the girl’s mother to assist in the investigations.

It is learnt that only 60% of the skeletal remains were found.

Schoolgirls who claim to 'See' Ghost !

ALOR STAR, Tues:

The ghostly apparition which spooked some 50 schoolgirls in Langgar here on Sunday made an appearance again this morning.
Another 17 girls from Forms One to Four of SMK Langgar became hysterical after they claimed they saw the apparition in the school canteen at 9.30am.

Kedah Education director Shahidan Abdul Rahman, in an immediate reaction, advised those affected by the incidents to stay home.

"We are still investigating the matter and I advise those still disturbed from the incidents to stay home," he said.

One of students, Nasroh Abdul Rahim, 14, said she fainted after seeing the apparition of a long-haired woman in a flowing white gown hovering in the canteen.
"I screamed and then blacked out after seeing the figure," she said when met at the school.

Incidentally, she was also one of the 50 girls who became hysterical when the 'ghost' appeared the first time.

Nasroh and her friends along with a few teachers were reciting the Yassin in the school surau when the 'ghost' reappeared. Her screaming sparked some of the others to become hysterical.

A bomoh, called in by the school to help check the problem, claimed he had caught a blur image of the 'ghost' on his handphone.

He said he was treating his daughter, Nur Fatihah Nani, who was among the 50 girls spooked in the first incident.

"Like Nasroh, my daughter is still very weak," he said.
