Looking for Malaysia user to test new network

We are aware that Gates 22X and Gates 23X have been giving less than desirable performance this week. We are very unhappy ourselves however it would seem that the problems are coming from the DataCenter which is beyond our control.

Right now we have source for alternative solutions and are very close to opening new server cluster in CyberJaya however we need your feedback badly in order to continue!

Our current trial server has 20 slots and will not disconnect automatically.

Hi guys, just wanted to let our users know that we are now on twitter at http://www.twitter.com/gamepathnet
Ever since the new enforcement of forum rules, I've had a lot of hard time communicating with you all so I thought I'd just inform you guys.

Once at the twitter site, we're currently having a vote to see if we should convert all our Singapore servers into Malaysian servers. The servers in Singapore are meant for backup / redundancy however if the performance is really poor and you guys feel it's not necessary, I might as well redirect the resources towards opening more Malaysian servers.

You make the choice on our next move! Please help vote

Need help to test new Gamepath servers

Most of our local servers are full (75% capacity) therefore a lot of people cannot get in. I'm thinking of expanding so need help from you guys to ping/tracert this new IP 203.211.132.66 to see if it's suitable.

Need to see if it's worthwhile getting servers from this new datacenter.

To help me compare, please do the following:
1. Go to cmd prompt type in "ping gate201.gamepath.net" then copy and paste the result here.
2. Go to cmd prompt type in "tracert gate201.gamepath.net" then copy and paste the result here.
3. Go to cmd prompt type in "ping 203.211.132.66" then copy and paste the result here.
4. Go to cmd prompt type in "tracert 203.211.132.66" then copy and paste the result here.

With both your ping and tracert results to our existing server and new server, I can tell whether or not performance will be similar and if I can open there.

Pls note if the latency difference is about 5-10ms lower/higher for new server, it is because it's in new location so depending on your location and routing, there will be differences.

Gamepath for WOW TW

In any case the server is now open for FREE ACCESS for a week trial for WOW TW users.

There is limited 20 slots at any one time so please give way to others and post your feedback/results here so I know if it's helpful or not.

Existing users can update their server list from http://www.gamepath.net/server.zip and login with the below username and ID.

Once you are setup, open putty and connect to Gate 204,

Login using:

User: gamepathtest
Pass: imjusttesting

(Please note when you type the password, it is invisible, you cannot see what you are typing, just type and hit enter.)

What popular games should Gamepath support?

At the moment Gamepath only supports World of Warcraft so I was wondering what other games would you guys like to use Gamepath for. I'm not sure if they work but I'm thinking of using a server to test out the latency. Not all games work with this kind of servers but Diablo 3 will be a priority in the future.

Hi all, thanks for your feedback for Gamepath for WOW USA.
Some of you have requested for Gamepath for WOW TW.

That is a possibility but I need to know roughly if there is a market for this. This is because for Gamepath for WOW USA, I have a lot of countries who can use. But if I setup for Malaysia, I don't think there are many other WOW TW players as it's in Chinese.

So I need to know a rough show of hands on how many people are interested. Charges would be the same RM 20 for 30 days. RM 55 for 90 days.

Ping should be good cause I will be hosting my servers in Taiwan.

Pirate King Online - Open Beta!

The Closed Beta phase of Pirate King Online is about to come to an end! There will be a scheduled character wipe once the server is shut down on 22nd September, Friday @ 10am GMT + 8 to prepare for the Open Beta which will begin on the 22nd of September, Friday @ 7pm GMT + 8.

With the Open Beta launch, this also means that the game will be openly available to all players around the globe to register online and play. There will no longer be anymore character wipes and will remain free to play forever!
