Hye all,

Normally if you go vacation. Did you plan the vacation carefully, or you in your plan only involve money and book hotel etc excluding places to go? (I mean you only think and go to werever you go only when you reach destination)

because normally if plan very carefully, normally you expect your plan to be working but if it doesn't work according to your plan, you end up dissapointed and stress during vacation. The purpose of vaction gone liao/

Vacation? If money and commitment not the problem, sudah lama i go vacation at least 2 times per year.

Not ranting but i wish to see beautiful scenery unlike now my life is basically, office, computer, sleep, makan, minum, handphone, concrete jungle, cars, busy road. ZZzzZZZzz Im sick of it

Once in a while i want to take long vacation, let's say a month see family spend time with them, go getting lost in our own country, no map, no handphone (if only our country not that dangerous to do this), see people different ethnic.

Company send for Training

Hye,

I have some question regarding company that send their employee for training. I have been to training that cost RM7850 in total but i haven't sign any agreement that i will be bonded for certain period (supposed to be 6 months)

I want to quit the company and would like to know wheter they can bond me without an agreement?

Help me choose spec for Servers

Hye guys, i need your help to choose a good spec for my company's new pcs and for servers. Im getting outdated on computers' equipment nowadays but my company ask me to buy in Lowyat only, not from Dell, or HP etc but customized.

1. Must up all the time, that means - i need dual fan and power supply (redundant)
2. HDD - Need 2TB, Hotswap, e-SATA and RAID capable.

Can you help me suggest?

Future parent in law already so nice to me, asking only RM7000 for hantaran. Let's say i have that already.

- Kenduri only at my future wife's place only but i have to share with her things like baju sewa, photography etc = ~~RM2500~~ RM2000.
- Cincin ~~RM1200~~ RM1000
- Barang hantaran ~~RM1800~~ RM1500 - buy pefume set, handbag, kek, buah, makeup set, buku resipi, sirih, shoe

Now i have to consider things after the wedding to start the marriage life:

1. Rent a house + deposit - At least need RM1800
2. Basic furniture - ~~RM3000~~ RM1500 - only buy fridge & washing machine

Do i need to apply for personal loan?Or should i use credit card to buy cincin and barang hantaran? Saving money is very hard. So many obstacle get in the way. If possible i dont want to hutang anymore. Help me guys. Opinion needed.

MNC = Multinational Company
SME = Small Medium Enterprise

My Current job i already worked for 1 year with salary raised 10% after confirmation. Basic salary is RM2200 after confirmation.
The job in PJ offered RM2800.
The contract job in MNC, Cyberjaya offered me daily rate which is very big.

But what concerning me now is:

Current Company:
- My current company is not in IT industry and i'm the only person who's in charged of IT and after working here for a year, i think i need to gain more experience somewhere else.
- I have 3 years experience in Sales but my qualification is IT. So the reason why i quit my 3 years job is to get back into IT industry.
- But my current company is declaring bonuses soon to all of the staffs. Arghhhhh!!
- In my current company, i have the opportunity to learn other than IT such as marketing and logistic and that's what im doing now.

SME company in PJ
- My heart doesn't belong to PJ anymore. I really love Cyberjaya and i live in Bandar Putra Permai, Seri Kembangan which is very nice place and very close to Cyberjaya.
- Should i go for this company for the sake of RM600 increment?

Contract job in MNC cyberjaya
- It's a 6 month contract job, and renewable if perform well and subject to the availabilty of projects, don't have much monetary benefits except a very attractive daily rate. But all of the leaves is unpaid leaves.

Especially in KL, Selangor or any major town in Malaysia? You'll be surrounded by debt, always stress. If earn RM5000 is consider ok lah but what if you earn RM2000?

Do you prefer to buy a house that comes with headache or you prefer rent a house. Just pay the rent and worry nothing because you gonna dead anyway someday.

Fresh Graduates’ Unrealistic Salary Demands Deter Employers from Hiring
- According to JobStreet.com’s survey -

"Fresh graduates nowadays have unrealistic salary demands" according to a recent survey conducted by JobStreet.com in October 2011. Of the 571 human resource practitioners who took part in the survey, 64% felt that the top reason why fresh graduates were rejected after the interview sessions was because the candidates were asking for unrealistic salary or benefits.

Second and third reasons in rejecting fresh graduates were “bad character, attitude and personality of the jobseekers” (60%) followed by “poor command of English language” (56%).

52% also felt that fresh graduates lacked good communication skills. Another 38% said that fresh graduates tend to be too choosy about the job or company they wish to work for.

A word of advice to fresh graduates by Chook Yuh Yng, Country Manager of JobStreet.com, “Don’t immediately reject an offer because the salary offered is below your expectation. Look at the long term career growth. It’s best that you gain the relevant experience first. Good remuneration package will follow when you have built a good profile for yourself and excelled in your field.

Chook added, “Be aware of the current market trends. Salary report information can be easily obtained from sites such as JobStreet.com. Do remember that you may even be competing against candidates with a few years of working experience that are more attuned and equipped to the market demands and trends”.

The survey results also indicated that 86% of the employers do not discriminate against graduates from a specific type of university; they do not mind hiring fresh graduates from the local public university, local private university or foreign university.

On the question about the level of quality among our fresh graduates today, 66% of the respondents rated them as ‘average’ and 23% rated them as ‘poor’.

A total of 571 human resource personnel took part in the survey conducted by JobStreet.com in October 2011.
