Unable to renew car roadtax

Last year both insurance and roadtax runs from 2/8/2020 to 1/8/2021.

Forgot to renew it on time, then I renewed the insurance on 3/8/2021.

So now what should i do to renew this roadtax ah?

Yesterday Pos office told me they are unable to renew it.
Myeg says the insurance ends before the roadtax period. Unable to renew too.

can renew roadtax at post office?

Due to mco, hardly start the car. I went over and jump start for my friend, but after about a week later, dead again.

So should my friend buy a battery charger? or swap a new one?
