Outdoor & indoor water filter

Hello everyone,

Would like to ask for your opinion for outdoor & indoor water filter that i am surveying for my landed house.

For outdoor water filter, compared the sand filter (my current house is using) vs membrane, felt like membrane is better? (i might be wrong) but would like to know your opinions/comments/inputs
For indoor water filter, too many choices but i am leaning towards tankless and can get hot/warm/room temp water

Appreciate if you can share your pov in term of maintenance (backwash, spare parts replacement, after sales service, etc.)
too many brands and all ads showing very positive rating lol

Kitchen Top Materials

Hello all,

I had 14Ft & 6Ft existing tiles kitchen top and because currently used non-full body tiles and the appearance was disgusting after polished the bucu
Therefore i would like to re-do the kitchen top.

Tiles: Quoted around RM4k for both (including hacking existing tiles and rebuild)
Quartz: Quoted RM150/Ft, RM350 for hacking existing tiles, RM150 for undermount sinks (i had 2 sinks and 1 hob so total RM450)

Would like to know your opinion for which material would you go for in term of durability, apperance, value for money
and anything that i should be taking note of when re-do the kitchen top?

Hi guys,

Would like to request your help in suggesting a wall fan for my kitchen area,
reliable, easy to maintain (cleaning blades, etc.), not too expensive if possible

Was looking at Deka MS20 but without blade cover, could be a safety hazard?

SOS Kitchen top tiles issue

Hi guys,

i would like to request your help in below issue regarding my kitchen top tiles, after kitchen top tiles work finished, my contractor arrange for trimming/polishing of tiles sharp edges but in return there were darker colour line unevenly, any idea to overcome/cover/correct the line ( i am ok to accept the darker tone line but it wasn't straight tbh)

Tried to ask my contractor but seems like no positive outcome, finger pointing game is not going to help anyway

so any suggestion/idea would be welcome

Base on my knowledge , teacher is one of the easiest way for a chinese like me to be if i wanna to become a government servant...other than that i not sure still got any job that mostly easier for me to be?

because of quota system , i really having no ideas how to get a government job as it will be stable right & benefits are quite nice(Eg:medical benefits) .. u know these days things are getting more and more expensive , if working in private sector hmm........boss might fired you up during economy crisis

err although i am just finished my SPM examination about 2 months ago but before i get my result most probably on March 2013
seriously i need to get an answer for myself regarding this question

Working in Government/Private sector?Let's Discuss

oh yeah i just graduated from form 5 last year

now i am willing to listen to ppls around lowyat forum about their point of view about working in government sector or private sector~

hmm from what i know, government servant are having lots of benefits and stable job yeah but maybe of quota system..malay are having more chances to get their job in government sector

about private sector ... hmm maybe salary are much more than government sector? lots of benefits also? or no? but by the time money crisis might lose yr job? (am i too worry on this?)

so yr opinion?
i am a chinese and not a racist to ask this question

er yeah i am a science stream student just finished my SPM examination last year(2012)..

until now i am still confusing what should i choose to be in future...

i am going to study in UTAR during May of this year (2013) ..

do u have any website that can do the test of self career pathway?
