Lady burns puppy with cigarette and twists off leg

A video has been going around of a cruel lady torturing a dog; casually smoking and burning a puppy multiple times on its face and then directly in the eye, and lastly snapping off the puppies legs.

Unfortunately, this cruel human has not been identified yet but has been rumoured to be working in Malaysia. Please spread the news and if you know who she is, please report her to authorities and also release her info to the public (name, age, address etc.) as she deserves to be named and shamed in public.

Video link is on SPCA facebook, but be warned, you might not be able to sleep for next few nights:

[VIDEO LINK] WARNING GRAPHIC/VOILET CONTENT

----
Update:

This video made my Animal Malaysia TV shows more footage and cruelty done to another puppy.
Problem with my Unifi modem

Need some help with my Unifi modem.

So I thought I be good and turn off my modem and router off and give it a rest after being continuously on 24/7 for probably for a year plus.
Turned off both by directly turning off from the power point and left it off for 5 hours.

Now I turn it back on and there's something wrong with the tmnet modem. The lights keeps blinking on and off. The 'power' light first red, then turns green for about 10 seconds, then 'LAN' and 'DSL' flash green, then suddenly all lights go of, and then back to 'power' red light. This keeps repeating.
Is my modem broken?
anyone know any decent shop/boutiques around KL that sell decent bowties?

I know H&M sells them, but limited in colour and styles; and I've seen few of them in those super-asian clothing shops but colour and quality looks horrible. Anyone know any other brands that sell them in more interesting colours and styles?

Turkey’s journalists were carefully avoiding mention of the tens of thousands of protesters who poured into the streets this week, in a show of deference to the government that enraged supporters of the demonstrations, the host of one Turkish game show found a way to raise the issue not once but 70 times during a broadcast on Monday night.

As dozens of flabbergasted viewers reported on Twitter, Ali Ihsan Varol, the star of the Bloomberg TV quiz show “Kelime Oyunu,” or “The Word Game,” crafted the questions so that all of the answers — phrases like “Taksim,” “gas mask,” “Twitter” and “dictator” — were thinly veiled references to the government’s failed crackdown on dissent and the way the news media blackout had been undermined by social networking.<br
how hansem is our PM?

Putting politics aside and just looking at looks only, does anyone else think Najib is the most awkward looking PM we have?
Compared to last 2, Mahatir and AAB, both have the 'look' of a leader of a country, looking smart and serious type person.
but Najib...eh, his half grown patchy grey moustache, bushy eyebrow, combined with his forced smile gives off the 'pervy guy look'

BN's marketing propaganda is much better than PR. They got better party symbol, nice modern graphic design in their 'better nation' slogan and nice minimalist t-shirts compared to PR's ugly bird.
But one thing that put me off during this election is seeing his pervy face so much driving around. Next time, BN shouldn't put his face so big and center of banners too much to promote themselves.
if BN change their leader, hope there's a more pleasant face to represent our country.

Where to get windows 8 now?

So I missed out on the promotion deal few months back for the cheap windows 8 for rm120, and now its RRP rm600.
Just got a new desktop and considering if I should switch to 8 or not. However, not willing to pay that much, and would rather just stick with windows 7 if I really need to fork out rm600.

Is there any where I can get a cheaper deal for a genuine copy? I notice on ebay/lelong, you can get now as same price as the promo. was thinking they probably bought a whole lot during the promo and now selling. Are these legit?/recomendable?
For those who have windows 8 now, do you really recommend to upgrade?
malaysian social/dating culture

I just moved back to KL from UK for after studying and growing up there and realized theres quite a culture shock I didn't expect even though my family is Malaysian.
Some of the things I've notice since moving back;
Even though i hear that most Malaysians can speak English, I feel that its still quite hard to communicate around, and I feel that most ppl prefer to speak mainly Chinese or Malay for daily use.
People here love hanging out in Shopping malls. I find that ppl will usually spend one whole day in a mall, and the next day in another mall. Personally, I despise malls as I hate how consumerized society has become, but I understand perhaps its because of the 365 days of hot weather and lack nice outdoor streets like in UK.
Young adults still live at home (with parents/family) rather than move out and find own accomodation.

These things somehow make it hard to meet new people or make friends other than from colleagues at work. Where do people go or do to make friends? Are there other activities out there Malaysians like to do in the outdoors?

edit:
Anway, i think the thread is going off-topic to what I intended; I was mainly hoping to get some local perspective on what the range of lifestyle is like here, what do YOU people do on a typical weekend day out/spare times; where are the more hip/interesting places to chill?
and to relate more to this thread; what is a typical date scenario like here?
