Is there a problem with over-education?

Hi guys.

If a country functions through both hands on / menial jobs and "intellectual" jobs, and the latter is more respectable & more well paid, would there be a problem of too many educated people who do not want to do "menial/hands on" jobs?

The end of it would be foreign labour, or an imbalance in too many educated people and insufficient jobs. Is this a problem that countries face? (Including Malaysia?) And what can be done about it? [What should/are countries doing to evenly distribute out these sort of jobs?]

In Australia, people have a different pperception of "smaller jobs". They think that is good, honest, respectable and nothing to be ashamed of. I think in Malaysia, we look down on "smaller jobs" like cleaning the bathrooms, waitering, etc.

I would like to understand if a perception change is needed so we can progress as a country & hire Malaysians, or if Malaysians should pay small-time workers more (min wage?). And lastly, is there something we can do to right this situation?

Just wanted to get some local thoughts (you're all prob well travelled too) on this so I can learn to think rightly about our country & this whole "over education" problem in general.

My newly updated theme is not showing up on my blog. Instead, it shows an old layout and doesn't show the newest post that I put up.

I am confirmed buying an MBP 13", the RM3899 one.

Now I need to ask your advice on:

WHERE I should buy one (i.e. online education discount is RM3699 OR should I buy in store for freebies..?), which particular shop la, etc.

WHAT I should ask for.. Freebies? Extra ram or..?

And WHAT does one need after buying a MBP? The necessary accessories to maintain it well I mean.

Hey girls! I saw this perfectly gorgeous leather bag lately...slung on someone else's shoulder, unfortunately. Fortunately, I saw the brand which was C & T intertwined. Anyone have any idea what this brand is?

Otherwise, any tips on where to get a nice shaped leather bag? I'm not big on quality atm, as long as it's leather-fake or real and "banana" shaped!

The banana/sausage shape leather bag I saw was a little longer than this with pockets in front. "fatter" with a smaller sling.

A little tired of big bags, you see.

Kopitiam for me was one of the BEST local fanfare ever produced on Malaysian TV in recent times - hilarious, witty and unpretentious - a true standout among the normal boring & unintelligent dramas. It's been so long since it was last aired, so I created a page for the rest of us who appreciated this series to have a chat and discuss our favourite things about Kopitiam!

Converting the default blogger layout to WP

Well for one, that, is the standard blogger layout and I love it! Except..of course, I'm using WP. Haha. So anyway, I was wondering if there were any templates u know of out there that are using this?

Once I have the codes I can start customising the colour, header inside that beeyootiful double lined box etc etc.

I suppose it is definitely psosible right, but I'm a bit baffled (must be the lack of sleep!) as to learning the WP er, magic codes that make your blogposts appear and such. LOL.

Would appreciate any help/feedback. Thanks!!

Wordpress: Unable to Access Login Page & Comments

Hope I'm putting this in the right section as the blogger section may have more end users, if that's the right word heh

K - I only realised there was something wrong when none of my comments could go through in reply to others, and realised NO comments could go through. I've even stopped receiving spam comments LOL. But I can't get any comments either.

I tried to think of what could've caused it. I had been theme testing the day before but I eventually changed back to my old one.

I thought maybe the comments might work if I changed to one of those other themes. Or maybe I could just twiddle around with the codes to see what I could do to fix the problem. So, naturally I clicked "LOGIN" but the page don't work! I can't access the login page here: http://dolce.swaymyway.com/wordpress/wp-login.php

It goes right back to the index page, as has been set for any mislinked pages or 404s. I tried changing the wp-login.php file to a wp-login.php.txt file to make sure it wasn't corrupted and I could access the file. Changing it back to .php though, I couldn't access it anymore.

Any thoughts on what could help/has gone wrong? I've tried wordpress.org but not many replies yet. =) Would appreciate any wordpressors out there!

Automatic Wireless Connection

Hey all.

I'm not sure why but one of my computers can't go online automatically. The only way is to get on to Wireless Zero Configuration and click Enable. Which of course is very annoying & wastes time when it should really get on automatically.

I'd installed the driver a few times, maybe this is where the error occurred?

Other than that once I click Enable, everything is fine.

Hope you guys can help me out with this!

I have always taken the consumer backseat in RSS so I'm a bit behind the times in this dept. Have a quick question: how do you add RSS Feed for both your posts & comments? the "Virus Mawar, Muse & Matt Bellamy" virus

Hey everyone,

I have the "Virus Mawar Is Back, Now With Muse, and Matt Bellamy Rocks +++++" virus that shows up on the title of my IE window title (not firefox though).

It's gotten into my mp3, external hard disk and such portable storage devices. Cos of that, it's now got into 6 other computers. I now need to find out how to remove it effectively from my portable storage devices as well as from the computers. Headache betul! I'm starting first on ONE computer and hopefully earn how ta solve the problem.

Problems:

All portable storages: a SpaQ - The Novel.html or something file comes up ALL THE TIME. I keep deleting it but it keeps coming back.

Harddrives: VirusMwrdy.js everywhere, every time. Even after deletion. See, I'm using a-squared Free 3.5 and it detected the worm VirusMwrdy.js in C:/, D:/ & system32 lah, already deleted it but I suspect it keeps comes back! How do I solve this and permanently get it out of my system? Also, how do I permanently get it out of my portable storage devices? Same way?

Also, how do I get rid of the whole "Virus Mawar Is Back, Now With Muse, and Matt Bellamy Rocks +++++" title that comes out on IE? Even after deleting the virus .js file it's still there. So I think i'm not completely eradicating the virus from my system or it is like a remnant of it modifying my system.

Any help here? PLEASE. Help would be sooooo appreciated. Super frustrated now.

Also -- are these choices good? Kapersky (antivirus), Lavasoft's Adaware (antispyware), Zonealarm (firewall) - or are there better ones I should choose/MORE programmes I should download?
