Notebook charging port contact problem

Hi,

I'm using an Acer Aspire 4935G laptop. Been about half a year since there's contact problem between the charger and the notebook charging port. I thought it's loose connection or maybe power adaptor issue. So before this I can turn on the laptop if I position the charger port in certain position (I need to use a rest or block to make sure the power adaptor got good contact with port.

But today any position has failed. So I thought of buying a new charger unfortunately I tested still the same. But got better contact (maybe cause it's new). But I still need to insert a block as well, so I didn't end up buying. Anyone can advice how to repair the charging port of the laptop? Thanks

Iphone screen black out

My phone screen just black out just now without dropping. Any idea what happen? Previously the screen shattered but it was 2 months ago. After that I didn't drop any more.

At 1st I thought it was off, but phone still able to be call by other ppl. Just that my phone no vibration, no screen display no whatsover.

Anyone help is much appreciated. Thanks

Car license renewal

Hi there, I'm planning to renew my license. Previously I renewed at post office hence it's the slip and I need carry along with the original license (with photo).

So if i were to renew using MyEg. It'll be another slip correct? But isn't there won't be a gap on the date? or now I need carry both slip + original?

example :
Original license with photo : 20/11/2007 - 19/11/2008
Slip : 17/11/2008 - 19/11/2011
Myeg : ???

If i were to carry the new slip, there'll be a gap between original and new slip. So now I need carry both or just the new one will do with original license?

Or the slip only for 1 time renewal, after that need to renew license at JPJ to update the photo?

How to create a 2 digit input encoder?

how do you create an encoder with 2 digit input?
I know the circuit if only 1 digit input..
according to lecturer, need to use either a flip-flop or shift registor..
but my class still dunno..
anyone can help? it's better if there's a circuit design also..
btw, any1 here used multisim for circuit construction?
