7-seater around Rm40k options

Hi lowyat,
I am looking for a 7 seater car around RM40k budget. New or used is fine.
Requirements:
- decent comfort for rear passengers (it will be a part time 7 seater, but when fetching 7, it is mostly adults)
- rear air con ducts/vents
- does not feel underpowered (based on your opinion)
- maintenance and replacement parts (prefer something that is bulletproof, okay no car is bulletproof, but you get the idea. And also no problems in getting replacement parts such as bumpers, headlights, tail lights)

Anyone knows where can I find shops that sells the Scale Model Cars like Tamiya, Aoshima or Kyosho in Penang?
To be specific, it is the plastic type where one would have to spray and paint by themselves.

I'm interested in getting a L920. But so far, i only know that Digi has the Data Plans for this phone. May i know which other telco have data plans for L920 too? Maxis? I cant find it in their website.. please advise. Thanks.

Why Blackberry?

Hi all BB users,
Since my first phone, i've been a loyal Nokia customer. Currently, i am using E63 which serves me well and didnt break down at all except for some software issues which makes me unable to open certain apps.
Anyway, I am thinking of changing a new phone. Currently on my list, Nokia Lumia 800 and BB Bold 9900.

Can you please share with me why do you choose Blackberry over other products running on iOs and Andriod?
My requirement on a phone would be:

1st: Mainly, as an Organizer (because i am forgetful and need a phone to manage my time and get myself organized). Since BB is said to be a good business phone. Can anyone help to elaborate this? What makes it a good business phone?
2nd: To be able to surf the net (which means, good browsing speeds etc). And maybe abit of email (personal, not business email).
3rd: Entertainment (musics, taking decent quality pictures, and certain amount of Game Apps)

I would like recarpet my car and also rewrap the seats. The leather wrap on the seats already cracked and the carpet is dirty. Please note that the carpet i mentioned is no the car mat. But the main carpet on top of the car floor. Any penangnites know where can i do this? any recommended shops?

CGPA vs Degree Class

Hi everyone,
I understand that there are a few methods universities and colleges use to determine the students grades.
In malaysia, we usually have CGPAs and Degree Classes (1st class, 2nd upper etc)

I did my degree in UK, it possible to convert my Degree Class to CGPAs (as it is more recognized over here in Malaysia)?
CGPAs are not stated in my transcript. only some awarded points. Which are way more than 4 (CGPA max points)..
and total points i have are over 300...

Band Soundcheck

hey guys..
i was wondering are there any proper ways to achieve a 'balanced' sound when playing in a band?
problems that sometimes occur to my band are like:

1) guitars; lead or rythm or bass is too loud to the audience although it sounds balanced okay to each guitarist..
2) during heavy parts (i,e chorus, where all instruments and vocals play together) will 'sinks' the lead or rythm guitarist sound..like, it sound softer..although during intro is fine..
3) during heavy parts, leads will sound very pitchy..(pain to the ears)

so, any of u musicians ever faced this probs? what do you do? (like tweakings on the amps..)
how do you do soundcheck for your band?

Regarding Ernie Ball's Strings

hey lowyat musicians...
i'm currently using Ernie's Super Slinky on my Ashton (Strat style guitar)..
and no longer playing E tuning..
usually D and sometimes C...

So, my question is, if i were to change to Heavy Bottom or other Slinkys, will it be alright for my guitar?
i mean, i heard stuff bout 'gauge size' on guitars..not too sure whats that tho..it affects the strings of something rite?

2nd question would be, are the Ernie Ball's Stainless Steel Strings really 'Stainless Steel'??!
i've been changing strings frequently due to rusty strings altho i apply Fast Frets everytime before and after i play...

i'm currently using nokia's ngage qd ..yes..bought it since it launched...
so if u do the maths, its about 4 years? or more?
i am always a nokia guy, as my 2 ex-phones were all nokia..
but anyway, its going off..i mean, i feel its time for a change..

i'm a no 3G guy..and a moderate camera in a phone would be a bonus..
budget? RM 800 or below..hehe
yup, i know its hard to get a good phone at tht price...
but i hope to get the best from tht price range..

i'm plannin to change my exhaust to a 2" straight flow system..
and i plan to fit like my car's original exhaust route..
for the Muffler..i'd like to find stock car's muffler as my muffler..(if possible, not those rare cars like,impreza,skyline,etc)
but dont know which car's muffler has 2" inlet size or more...
any idea? thanks..

hi guyss..
i'm always a PC guy..when i first started using computer until now..
i'm not sick of it..but i just wanna try something new, ( it'll look uber cool when my frens come over to use my comp! LOL)..and also the cube effect thing is stunning..
FYI, i know nth much about linux except that its just another OS...

okay; the thing is,
1) can i use/install LINUX in my PC? like change the OS? ( motherboard maintains the same)
2) will linux be able to support my hardware? ie, soundcard,graphic card,network card..
3) i'm totally not a computer freak, i dont know all those confusing codes. do i need to learn those codes in order to use linux?
4) can i still use Mircosoft Office if i'm running linux?
5) i heard linux start-up time is way faster than PC, is that true?
