this afternoon i heard a loud bang like a piece of rock hitting the ceiling board. i went out the house and saw neighbour or his worker sitting on my roof without my permission.

is this legal? what should i do? thinking of inspecting the roof, anyone knows any drone rental service in KL?

i have checked the app and ussd, the free data allowance is no longer showing. it was there a few months back.

Applepay refused

Today, I was shocked when I tried to use applepay at Marks and Spencer. They told me they accept samsung only. I have been using applepay at m&s many times in the past, and couldn't believe what i heard. I insisted that applepay works and tapped and the transaction went thru fine. The cashier was upset and said it is the management's decision to reject applepay.

Anyone encountered similar problem before? Is apple charging the merchants higher fees? What could be the reason?

if your number is inactive and you topup using any of the above methods, your mobile internet will remain cut off even if you purchase any internet plan or pass.

hotlink website only says free basic internet access will not be resumed, and it is obviously incorrect and misleading.

data will not work and maxis will refuse to refund you. so please be careful.

reactivation for new hotlink fast sim?

i have just bought a new hotlink sim at your store in nu sentral. i was told that if i dont make the first call in 5 days, i need to perform reactivation with maxis.

it wasnt like this in the past, all we needed to do was to dial 122. is there a change in policy? do i have to go back to store if i intend to use the sim next week?

Disable Data Roaming

Does anyone know if there is a telco out there that supports disabling data roaming from operator end while keeping voice and sms roaming?

I know that many modern phones have the switch for data roaming but there have also been reports that subscribers got charged with hefty data roaming charges despite having data roaming switched off on their phones. I find it's safer to have the feature turned off from the operator end. And the Nokia 3G phone that I sometimes take with me to overseas trips doesn't have data roaming switch.
