Import Pet To Johor From Singapore

Hi, I need some advise on pet import procedures. I want to bring my 2 cats from Singapore to Johor. I have searched the forum and also the net, it seems there's a new ruling after 2014 Oct, that import permit is obtained from MAQIS (via agent only) and no longer by DVS.

Can't seem to find a reliable agent.

So I would like to ask

1. Any experience from bringing your pet from Singapore to Malaysia via Johor border?

2. Any ways to get the import permit and sent to Singapore? Agent recommendations are welcome, although I would like to know is there a way I can do it myself?

Any feedback is most appreciated. Please don't suggest smuggling, as I have researched the consequences and it's not that rewarding.

Where to get the cheapest soy protein? The cheapest whey protein is around rm198 for 5lbs. Do you know any soy protein that is cheaper than that? cause most of the soy protein i find in GNC/ego nutrtion is more expensive than regular whey.

vitamin supplement confiscated in Kastam

i ordered some vitamin supplements from the internet in U.S. Now its been confiscated by the Malaysian customs saying that its not registered under the "drug and cosmetic 1984 act". how come some people can order it but i cant? do they have a special "way" in order to bypass customs?

The letter didnt state how i can claim back the stuff, it just say that its been confiscated, so how can i claim it back? anyone experienced this before?
