Recent whatsapp messages doesnt deliver to my iphone until i open up the app, the sender will only see a single tick only, any idea how to resolve it?

i have tried following steps but cant resolve also:
- reset network setting
- reset all setting
- ensure background app refresh is turn on
- all notifications are turn on

Appreciate your all help.

didnt know apple watch screen so fragile, drop my watch SE straight on the glass face and crack, one mobile accessories shop quoted me RM450 just to replace the glass, pricy.
