Guys,need your advice.

My parents just bought me a used nissan GTR35 for my 21st birthday present. The thing is, i don't like the idea of the car being owned by somebody else before me(all my preavious cars were bought un-registered). I've managed to talk my parents into selling of the car and getting maybe a brand new boxster.
Should i just go ahead?

Please advise.
