Yes, as mentioned in the topic, I'm paying PAWS a visit this Sunday (19/07/09).

This will be my first visit to PAWS and I would like to do some charity work before I move to Penang at the end of August.
I'll probably pay them a visit every Sunday if possible.

If you have any unwanted items (or items that you think you can afford to donate of the following), you can pass it to me / donate them yourself to PAWS.

Bonsai Kitten is an internet hoax, which claimed to give instructions on how to grow kittens in bottles as a form of decoration, similar in fashion to a Bonsai tree. Soon after birth the kitten is supposedly placed in a glass container, allowing the kitten to grow to fill the vessel that contains it.

The kitten allegedly breathes through specially drilled holes in the glass and may be fed and expel waste through tubes, and their purpose is supposedly as an elaborate ornament, instead of a pet. Bonsai Kittens were first publicised on a how-to site called www.BonsaiKitten.com in 2000, though this domain no longer directs users to the site.

Practical Considerations

However, for those who have applied for and received the appropriate Bonsai Kitticulture permits from the U.S. government, we are happy to provide details of the procedure to those who want to start from "scratch"! There are three main requirements that must be considered when making a Bonsai Kitten:

1. Air. This ought to go without saying, but you'd be surprised how many amateurs forget this detail and wind up with a cold, hard kitty in the morning! If the containment vessel is sealed, you must drill airholes prior to kitten insertion. A diamond drill is recommended for glass vessels.
2. Food & Water. Especially if the kitten's head is being shaped (one of the most versatile aspects of the Bonsai Kitten), it will not be able to eat or drink normally. The most common solution is another hole in the container with a feeding tube to the kitten's mouth, where a liquid food slurry can provide both nutrient and hydration requirements.
3. Waste Removal. Left to its own devices, the kitten would quickly fill its vessel with its own urine and feces, leading to certain sickness and death, not to mention the inevitably unpleasant appearance and odor. The best solution is to seal the kitten's anus with Super Glue prior to insertion, and then insert a waste tube through a third whole in the vessel. As the kitten's body is still developing, a natural rectal diverticulum will soon form around the tube, which can be drained in any convenient fashion. It's just like a kitty colostomy bag!

recently i bought xun xun..
da breeder jap in da microchip in front of me.

i remember few secs b4 da jap she was shaking her tail fairly quick n cute, but after da jap, i mean till now, 1 week ++, no shaking tail at all..

i was wondering whether did da microchip do any harm 2 her tail or system dat prevents her tail from shaking..

last time she can shake da tail very fast..when i ask da breeder, he din reply me!

in UNITAR, Universiti Tun Abdul Razak, taking my Bachelor in Education course of 3years, bout rm38k.

1. da prob is, i oni get rm30k for my ptptn loan..
anyway i can get some scholarships?
my foundation results : lowest 3.68 highest 4.00 throughout 4semesters.

my previous experience of having a shihtzu was a failure..
i fed him chicken bones..KFC..kraft singles..
i dunno wat will he bcome..
obese n wif skin problems..mayb da cheese caused da skin prob..

i'm getting my 7week old shihtzu pup nex week..

da 1st word or lavender in chinese..
i'm excited n worried as i dunno wat 2 do..

i'm new n this is my 1st post here..hope u girls can help me..

i need recommendations for..
shampoo and conditioners..

i used 2 hv really nice hair which beralun-alun when da wind blows..
black shinny and long..
but after secondary sch i started colouring, highlights, rebondings..
and da most recent 1 is colour in chinese new year n normal perm last month..
it bcame very dry n frizzy..
split ends n it breaks off in da middle..very brittle..
da previous perm did not work n i went n cut off all the curly parts..
which now leave me wif oni shoulder length..
