Smartags and cars

This is more of a question directed to our local carmakers but how come we have yet to build in a SmartTag system into the car itself and mount the IR right into the windshield and have a slot on the side where you just put in your TouchnGo card and you can read the balance on your HUD if you cycle to it. Seems like the next logical step for the local car industry. TouchNGo gets to ensure that all motorists use their system, they supply parts for the SmartTag and it's easy for consumers/reduces rate of SmartTags being stolen. I think its a win-win.

Dunno, what are your guys' thoughts?

Question for real estate developers

I've got a question to big real estate developers/contractors.

When a company who does tiles, kitchen cabinets, toilet, bathroom fixtures and all the things that you put into a home, how do you usually decide who to partner with and work? Do you usually fix on price and negotiate on that, or do you go for the partner that gives the best package (ie partner that gives all of the above together so you don't have to look for multiple partners?) or do you have strict choices based on the layout and design of your property?

Car crash in a parking lot...

Hi, I recently got into an accident in a parking lot, another guy hit me.

No problems there, we managed to settle everything but then he told me that legally though, I wouldn't be able to involve the police as the parking lot sits under "private property" and the cops have no jurisdiction in this area according to his lawyer friend.

Is this true? Need some sifu lawyer help.

Gaming rig suggestion

Hi all,

Am looking to build my first rig. Kind of miss the States and having Newegg where I can get everything...haha. So first question is...where's a good place to get stuff (is there an online option?)? I know LowYat is filled with stores but where specifically do you guys recommend that you have trusted dealers and genuine guys looking to help you out and that you've had good experiences with?

SO here's the proposal...

[Budget] ~3k (incl. tax)...can stretch a bit more if there's a really good reason for it.

[Purpose] Gaming for the most part.

[Hardware that will be reuse from old rig] None. Probably turning my old rig into a media server. Therefore will need a case too! =D Probably carry my Windows 7 Pro onto this PC as well.

[Monitor resolution] -

[Game or software that use frequently] Steam games...my best game will probably be Total War Rome II. Obviously want to be able to future proof my system for at least another 3-4 years.

[Personal Preference Brand] Intel/NVIDIA ZOTAC/ASUS. Like these because my current rig is set up with those. Again if you have recommendation for others that's suited, am happy to hear.

[Location] KL
