Day 1:

Terminal 1 Departure hall

Opinion needed on 1440p monitor

I m currently using Ryzen R5 1600 and gtx1080 OC.

I am looking to upgrade my monitor from existing 1080p @60hz to 1440p @ 144hz.

Few questions.
1. Can my rig support the 1440p ? Will I have bottleneck issue?
2. Is 1440p really better than 1080p ? I don’t mind using 1080p @ 144hz if the benefit is not significant
3. If I am going for 1440p , I m eyeing Acer xb271hu . Is it a good choice ? Any better recommendation ?

GC rev very loud when Fan Speed (RPM) goes to 0

after gaming a while, my GC will rev very loud then i go check. realised my Fan speed (RPM) drops to 0. sometimes it will regain back then and no more rev. else will keep revving.

anyone knows why?

GC on idle behaviour

I checked my GC using GPUZ. is it normal for the fan speed to be 0% and 0 RPM during normal internet browsing.

When i watch a video also it is showing 0.

PC keep booting into BIOS

Hi all sifus,

Yesterday i updated my Gigabyte Gaming 3 bios F7 to F8. but then after using it for couple of mins, i realised my fan rev quite constantly even though not under full load; temperature all was normal.

therefore, i reverted back to F7 using the backup. (Prev I have backup F7). Restarted PC, everything OK and continue using.

This morning when i turned on my PC, it went into Bios. I exit a few time, and it still enter into BIOS. I cant seem to get out of BIOS.

What can I do next?

Recommendation for building a gaming pc

Hi /k, need all your experts advice. I m torn between getting myself an Alienware R3 13 or building a gaming rig. Not really into 4K gaming just maybe 1440p is enough. Looking to play AAA title games like upcoming call of duty

I don't have any particular preferences but I prefer intel and gtx1070. Other than gaming , I will only use for browsing website and using Office

My Budget is around S$2300 or myr7000. Can include monitor or exclude , doesn't really matter

Now i am in KLIA2 leaving for Manila in a short while. The whole purpose of the trip is to go to Linapacan. Months back I saw a thread here about the the clearest water in the world to swim before you die. So one of it was Linapacan, Philippines. I straight away booked my ticket .

I did many research on Linapacan, however there is no one website that shows you how to get there. Getting there is one of the major challenges I faced.

Since yest I was not feeling too well. Had a little food but threw up. Today had some food hopefully it stayed in the stomach.

I realized older women (those working) will pay for their own meal or movies. She will normally initiate to separate the bills; occasionally they will pay for me too. If I paid the tickets for movies; they will take up the bill for lunch or buy popcorn or drinks for movies.

younger girls ( those just graduated or jobless or still studying) they will not initiate to pay. They expect you to pay everything. they basically just will not take their purse out to pay for anything.

Foreign girls are also quite considerate. We will normally go dutch too. Or at times we will take turn to take up the bill. (similar to working girls)

So, my question here is how to get younger girls to pay.

So I received a request from the Korean whether I am able to host them. Since I am free during that period, I accepted their request.

Their flight arrived at 2am in the morning. And they managed to reached my place around 3+ am. I went to pick them up.

Went home, they had a good sleep and the next morning we departed to the city.

Then Day 2, we went to Batu Caves and during the night we proceeded to Thirty8, Grand Hyatt.

Eventhough it was a short stay as they would be flying off to Bali, it was a great experience. =)
