Public Bank Secure Sign In activation

For some strange reason the Public Bank app request to sign in again, maybe due to app update? I try to sign in again and the app ask to register token to my phone. Then it ask me to go to bank to activate via PB ATM machine. Problem is my debit card have expired long ago and I never bother to update it because I only use PB exclusively to pay house loan and also don't want to pay unnecessary ATM fees. So can the app be activated without the need to apply for ATM card and just go to the counter?

Soundbar on a budget

Anyone bought the JBL Cinema SB510 3.1 Channel Soundbar? I stay at terrace house so I want soundbar that is not too loud to disturb the neighbors enough but better than the sound coming from TV speakers. Is this model good? My TV supports HDMI arc so such connection is a must.

I try to avoid the one with bass speaker to subwoofer not a fan of big booming sound to shake the room.

Anyone have the Tsunami HPC 6120? Can this unit be used with the 3rd party turbo nozzle? Main focus is to clean parking area algae/molds so I was wondering of this model have enough power to do it. Interest in HPC 7140 but that unit is brushless motor and worry about longevity but it does come with turbo nozzle. I probably use water jet maybe once a month just to do house cleaning. Thoughts?

I want to buy some part from lowyat but my distance is too far. I saw the lowyat price list from vendors like Compuzone and found it to be cheaper than shoppee or lazada.

Is the price listed cheap as shown or have to buy as a combo with motherboard, ram, psu, case?

Water pressure jet brand recommendation

What are your thoughts on this brand? I don't do much pressure washing, maybe 2 or 3 times per month just to clean mold/algie from cement floor or maybe occasional car washing. Budget around RM300.

Suggest me laser printer

My current situation is as follow:

1. Need to have printer and prefer laser because I would be away for 2 to 3 months and I fear inkjet print might get clog as no one will be around the house when I am away.

2. Just basic print black and white, if possible printer should have scanner too for photocopying. I will not be printing that many stuff, mostly to print flight ticket or some word documents.

3. Wifi would be good option to have so I can use phone to print.

4. Most important is cheap/affordable. Don't need to have fancy brand as long as can get the job done.

So any suggestion?

Recover data from SSD

Hi all need help.

I have tried to recover files from Kingston SSD (Model SA400S37). Unfortunately the SSD seem to keep on disconnect and reconnect from PC, and the recovery software I use cannot do proper scanning due to this issue.

Perodua Viva radiator cap type

My friend lost her Perodua Viva radiator cap (didn't close properly, lost somewhere).

I read that there are several type of radiator caps (0.9, 1.1, 1.3).

I am not sure what type is used for Perodua Viva, anyone have idea? Thank you!

Kingston A400 120GB issue

I'm helping someone to check the laptop. One day can't boot and I check the BIOS, the HDD status reads "SATAFIRM S11".

I read that this was due to firmware issue/controller of the SSD.

Is it possible to recover data?

Data recovery service recommendation

Can anyone recommend reliable data recovery service for external storage device?

Before anyone asked, yes I have check the storage device (Trancent Storejet 1TB). Bought 2018. The Trancent Storejet does have power, swap USB cable too. All it did was just constant blinking all the time but can't read the drive.

Took out the HDD inside (WD 1TB Blue). Hook up to a PC, boot up using Hiren Boot USB and it still cannot read the HDD. In fact, the HDD caused the Hiren Boot CD to load very slow (probably trying to read the HDD). The HDD did spin, can hear the sound. No clicking.

So now I think its likely HDD issue, maybe the board itself so I think go for data recovery service.

Anyone can recommend good data recovery service? I can fry to KL area so courier service will have to do.

So what is the best brand to get, can achieve 1gig transfer rate, can also support PoE, Cat 5e cable to get from Shopee/Lazada?

Don't suggest Cat 6 as its way beyond my budget.

I'm thinking of upgrading my laptop HDD to SSD.

My laptop is mainly for work not gaming. I target 120GB since I don't store much data.

I heard there is this DRAM-less SSD on the market but some say DRAM SSD is much better.

I think most Sandisk SSD are DRAM-less?

What are your thoughts?

Trade/exchange house between 2 states

I have a friend who bought a house in Sabah. Had been paying house bank loan for 4 years.

However recently my friend had to move to Sarawak (long term job), so the Sabah house was left empty most of the time (still new). Friend decided to settle in Sarawak and want to sell off the house in Sabah.

Is it possible to somehow exchange the house in Sabah for the one in Sarawak (trade in / swap / exchange )?
