B450 steel legend with g.skill trident z neo

1st time builder here and recently i bought a Asrock B450 Steel Legend and a pair of G.Skill Trident Z Neo 3600mh, F4-3600C18D-16GTZN to be specific.

Initially I've checked on pcpartspicker and also saw in the comments of the product page of the RAM that it works on the mobo. But recently just out of curiosity I went to Asrock as well as Gskill website to check the list of compatible parts, and realize that they're not on the list.

So i'm quite confused now as to whether this pairing actually works or not? i know perhaps i've went for the faster 3600 which might not have been necessary since my mobo can only go 3533++. I'm more concerned as to whether it'll even work at all, if it works even though not at full capacity that's okay for me.

Anyone here can confirm if this pairing can work??

Getting into the Energy sector

I graduated as a civil engineer and i've only been working for a year as a C&S consultant.

i've taken an interest in renewable energy (i think that's the future and even though oil & gas will still be around for quite some time, i don't see it as rewarding and lucrative as it was)

so my question is whether it is possible for me as a civil engineering graduate move into that sector, and if possible, is there a lot of opportunities in malaysia? or i would need to look for in overseas?

Lenovo Ideapad y580, boot problem.

anyone else here still using a lenovo y580?

a few issues came up with my laptop, other than the usual hinge problem, my laptop is having problem with booting.

i started with having problem turning on my laptop, where it says that i can't connect to boot device and there's a ticking sound coming from my laptop.

i can still get my laptop to boot though when i let it on for like 10mins staying on the screen where it says "can't connect/detect boot device, i restart it and it just start like normal. it almost feels as if i have to give it a warm up before it's gonna do anything.

another problem is with my battery, where i can't recharge it under certain circumstances. for example if i have my battery plugged in and i turn it on, then i connect to a power supply through my charger, it just wouldn't switch to the direct power supply, it'll just continue to run on battery until it dies. i can only get my battery charging if i unplug it before i turn my laptop on, have my laptop boot on direct power supply, and then put my battery in. that's the only way it'll charge.

these are the problems i'm facing now, with the issue of "can't detect boot device" being my main concern. i think it's probably the hard disc but i'm not sure, and it would be good if there's suggestion on where to get it fixed. i tried calling the service center's number but i can't get through at all.

anyone can suggest me a solution?
where best to get it fix and a number i can call? anyone facing the same issue?
