need a quick serious itinerary suggestion. for (an unplanned/late) travel tomorrow.

sorry for posting in /k instead of travel-related section.
i just need quick response thats why.

please suggest me places to visit. (like those historical places etc)
in a very efficient manner.

my concern.. poor plaaning -> wrong sequence of going places -> not enough time to go as many places as i could.

switching job

guys..
i'm planning on switching job (probably field also)

originally just job/company and stick with same field - reason: i'm moving from KL/Sel to JB
1. tried to get similar field seems no avail (maybe hard to find or not yet found) thats why need some info if any. thanks in advance
2. found something not similar but close. applied but no response
a. maybe due to expected salary. ask one real-world friend say salary range in JB is lower than what i'm getting

then thinking to change field due to the above (similar job oso can't pay much) plus:
1. i'm in manufacturing comp.. and think that once manufacturing.. forever stuck here.
a. and i'm quitting coz the manufacturing environment is not preferable anymore
b. kind of bored.. or to be precise wanna do diff thing (i'm E&E but doing programming)

BUT...
-changing field means ~5 yrs exp will be gone.
-if want to stay same field, no many vacancy in JB (but if stay in same field get lower pay then no diff from above then)

lol.. should put the title as switching job dilemma perhaps

[WTA] FM1 vs AM3 system

Hi,

seeking for advice from hardware gurus regarding the comparison.
my goal is to have minimal system that can smoothly operates basic usage for waifu.
a recommendation would be appreciated since i can't go thru LYN price-list to look for desired-spec of hardware
(model number dont really reflect the features i.e backpanel got HDMI or not. it's troublesome to google each of them. only if could be narrow down then it'll be better)

what i have in mind is to have HDMI output so can connect to LED-tv.

FM1 can have mobo with HMDI built in saves me from buying GPU
AM3 i think i will need to get GPU for HDMI and this will cost more

but seems like the AMD APU is more on media rather then processing thus i'm afraid the system will lack processing power for M$office, running webserver/fileserver (minimal just for home),
and those in AM3 like athlon2 or phenom got more general processing power
it's like i want a HTPC that could also do office stuff. (not just HTPC alone)

need gurus to correct my perception if its wrong.

the conclusion would be either:

1. FM1 is good enough and cheaper solution.
2. No, u need AM3 since FM1 will disappoint u in doing home/office work

FYI, budget around RM600 for MOBO CPU and RAM (and gpu if mobo don't have HDMI)

in my opinion it'll be between A4 3400 vs athlon II 250 based on that budget
(i doubt AM3 can get HDMI with that.. i think GPU with HDMI is pricey)
