PSA: Walch and Dynamo is China brand

Something I knew for a while because I'm a very picky with my detergent.

Walch is a brand new detergent company from China made by businessmen (hence they can scale so fast an inorganically)

Recently, Unilever has sold brand rights for Dynamo to Walch. Hence, the old Dynamo doesnt exist anymore. The brand has exit the market. In its place, Walch bought over the brand and now relabelling its detergents with the dynamo brand. Thus you can see logo, bottle shape slightly different

Just putting it out there cause sometimes i hear old people in grocery store saying how Walch is good german brand or they been using Dynamo for years no issue.

Outgoing Petronas CEO tells colleagues to stand by

PETALING JAYA: Outgoing Petronas CEO Tan Sri Wan Zulkiflee Wan Ariffin (pic) has reminded his colleagues that standing by principles may sometimes prove unrewarding, but doing the right thing will allow peace of mind.

He said that Petronas must continue to be led by women and men of courage who have the conviction of doing the right thing.

"Often in a position of trust, you will face conflicting choices and difficult decisions.

"Sometimes, standing by your principles may prove unrewarding and downright unpopular. It is a lonely path that a true leader must tread.

"At the end of it, doing the right thing will allow you to have a peace of mind, that clarity of conscience of having discharged your trust, your responsibility with honesty and honour," he said in a video message.

Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin had said last week that Wan Zulkiflee would take over as chairman of Malaysia Airlines Bhd effective July 1.

Before the announcement, there was speculation that Wan Zulkifllee was resigning from Petronas, where he had spent his entire career since joining in 1983 as a process engineer in Kerteh.

He made his way up the corporate ladder and was appointed as CEO and president of the company in April 2015.

"I believe everything happens for a reason. The cycle of life continues to turn and the change is its only constant," he said.

Petronas CEO upset that they are forced to pay Sarawak sales tax. Many ppl consider it to be intervention by federal gov to gain GPS support. CEO disagree then kena send to MAS.

Apparently his 'principles' is to plunder other states resources while giving peanuts in return.

Sarawak will not implement Conditional MCO

KUCHING: Sarawak has decided not to implement the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) until it has studied the implications it will have on the state, the Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) announced today.

“The Sarawak government fully respects the announcement made by Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin on the need to reopen the economy hence relaxing the MCO effective this Monday, May 4, 2020,” Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas said in a statement today.

“However the state government has decided to study the implications of the reopening of such economic activities, which sectors to open, when and to what extend they will be allowed to open.”

Uggah said the SDMC intended to make a decision after it had studied the changes in the regulations under the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases Act (Measures within the Infected Local Areas) Regulations 2020 pursuant to the announcement by Muhyiddin.

As such, all current laws under the existing Movement Control Order (MCO) still apply, and businesses and the various economic sectors in the state will stay closed until the study is complete.

He stressed that the SDMC must ensure that the reopening of the economic activities and sectors suited Sarawak’s circumstances.

“Taking into account Sarawak’s local situation in terms of the Covid-19 cases, logistic capability, the capacity of the Health Department and its geographical circumstances, the SDMC has found that many of the standard of compliance of the reopening of the economic activities will not be conducive in the state,” pointed out Uggah.

As such, he said the Sarawak government had decided to keep all the directives to maintain the status quo.

“Therefore, all directives announced under MCO 1, 2 and 3 remain in force for now.”

He, however, said Sarawak would announce in stages the reopening of economic activities and other sectors.

This would be done after the minute details of the standard operating procedures (SOP) and guidelines were studied, he added.

Additionally, Uggah said those who had received approval from the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (Miti) during the MCO 4 were required to get the Sarawak government’s approval through the SDMC.

He said they could submit their applications to be reviewed by the SDMC before they were allowed to operate.

Im going to get a new credit card with maybank.

Thing is, I already have a debit card and a few accounts with maybank (all connected through Maybank2u account).
When I apply (and receive) the credit card, will that credit card account automatically be linked to my Maybank2u?
Or do I have to open link it manually (i.e. ask the branch to do it). Or maybe even get a seperate maybank2u account (is this possible?)

Logically, I would expect the system to link all of them to the existing Maybank2u...but is this true?
