Laptop Screen Problem!

I cant figure the problem with my dell laptop. When turning on the power after hibernating, the laptop will startup just fine, but before coming to the log in page, the screen will turn off. It somehow only happens after i hibernate the computer, but doesnt happen consistently!
Does anyone haave a similar problem?

i have a Dell studio 1535.
my dvd slot in doesnt work.

i have an external DVD drive. Is it possible to boot Windows Vista DVD from external dvd drive?

I tried arranging the BIOS sequence putting dvd drive and USB first. However, it still doesnt work. I have also updated my bios.

HI

I have been recently told that my MC UV coated filter is a fake. According to him, there are only 2 series of Kenko filters. Zeta and Pro1 Digital.
the casing looks something like this

Broken Ipod

im hv this Ipod classic 30gb gen5 ...

it has a serious crack on the front plastic cover...the plastic core cover on the front is popping out of the metal back...bout a 1mm gap in between...

can it be fixed?
how much will it cost to fix it?

everytime i try to sign in, this problem comes up...and when i press troubleshoot and repair, it normally signs in as usual
but when the computer starts again, the same problem occurs
occasionally, a box saying that the "contact list not available"

is it to do with zonealarm firewall? or the programme? or the internet router?

query...everytime i rename a file,.i have to put the type of file e.,g. (.mp3) or (.doc) at the end or else it will say...are you sure you want to change the file type..

i m trying to fix a wireless internet connection in the house..so the whole house can get internet...the modem is in 1 computer and cannot use other telephone port...

i have a hardware that can send wireless LAN and a reciever on the other computer...
how do i make it able to recieve internet only from the other computer?
